The Gift of Nothing

I wasn't sure if this was related to another user-run plot or if it's something new or even a plot at all but here we go. Did anyone else get this? :O
You sit at home minding your own business when after a few minutes pass a knock is heard at your front door, curious you go see who it is and find it&;s a mail courier. They smile and hand over a parcel saying it&;s for you and once you&;ve signed for it they are on their way.</p>
<p>The box feels light and you feel a little skeptical about what could be inside, still it was delivered to you, perhaps you should see what&;s inside. It looks more like a gift than anything else and it&;s addressed to you in an almost familiar handwriting. As you feel back the tape and peer under the first box flap, you see. . . Nothing.</p>
<p>What, that&;s just a sick joke! Who would have wasted their time sending you.... NOTHING?? As you get ready to toss the box aside you stop and have a closer look, opening the box up fully this time, now noticing that the box has a false bottom to it, something is actually in there! Hmm question is, do you fall for the trick again or do you just say "the heck with it" and open it up?</p>
<p>What will you do?</p>
<p>A) Open the Box
B) Throw it away
C) Go get a cookie</p>

You open the box, with a little more gusto than intended but it&;s done and and item drops to the floor. You reach down and pick it up. Well that was fun. A little strange but harmless right? Now what to do with these?

This is your first time opening this, so these items are now in your inventory!
You drop the box to the ground and saunter off to get yourself a cookie. Why get your hopes up over nothing, the box felt empty any way. Hmph most likely it&;s just a prank by one of your neighbors or someone thinking they&;re cool. Well jokes on them, you didn&;t fall for their tricks.... twice that is. Still the box IS there.... Should you open it? Nah that can wait there&;s cookies to be eaten.</p>
<p>After that though? Anything is possible.</p>

B) Toss the box outside
C) Go surf the internet</p>

Heavily tempted to "go get a cookie" but I'm curious what would be in my box since it seems like people are getting different things, depending. Message You tear open the rest of the box and look at the item lying in wait. Oh cool it looks to be some sort of potion.... with a little note attached:
"Hope you can find a use for this, I wasn't sure the best way to send it so I thought I'd make you think you got nothing when really you had something all along."

Looks like you&;re going to just ignore that box, that.... BOX... and go do something fun. Hmph boxes... those things cats like. You go to your computer and spend hours online doing whatever it is you do to pass the time. When you decide you&;ve had enough you promptly head for bed... tripping over that box and hitting the ground hard. What is this some sort of sick twisted joke to someone? You kick the box away from you and make sure nothing about you is broken.</p>
<p>That&;s it this box has to go before you wind up in the hospital!</p>

You waste no time at all in ripping the box apart to get to your prize, if there even is one. You feel almost disappointed, that is until you look to the floor and see a piece of paper.... Oh it&;s a raffle ticket. Huh.... did you win anything? Probably not but this would be useful elsewhere, right?

Alright that is it time to open this box and get on with your life. You scramble to grab the darn thing and rip it open... hopefully whatever IS inside isn&;t broken from you, well, crashing down on it. As you peel away the false bottom you notice a strange package inside.</p>
<p>Huh oh cool, this could come in handy, for whatever reason you have no clue but this COULD come in handy. Now maybe you can go to bed and not have any bad dreams .... please no evil boxes coming for you, you have stuff to do in the morning, maybe.

You open the false bottom and peer into the box with a less than eager look on your face, that is until something catches your eye. Oh well that's something isn't it? There IS an item in the box after all.

Edit: You open the box excitedly thinking that there could be no more pranks and perhaps something good can come of this, as you turn the box over you can't help but utter some choice words.
