I adopted Franky from the pound last month and just haven't been able to click with them. Just let me know what you'd like to do with them, if you plan to change their species/color. I don't want to adopt them out to someone who plans on changing the name because I know the name is very much why most will want them.
..... I never knew I wanted one of these until I heard the name Franky.
Think that's the perfect name for a dopey face like this.
Cant say I have big plans for him yet .... I tend to make up stuff in my head and write it in notes until I can eventually get the chance to put em to good use.
Atleast consider it? Thanks!
Oh man, I love this name!! Thank you so much for the ping. ^_^
Hi there! So for one... Franky would get a gender change, because I have a soft spot for masculine named females and I have a lot of male pets already. The graveyard color will likely stick (because come on) but I'll likely wind up changing the species. There's a handful of graveyard pets I'm still itching to own.
Edit 11/10/18: Had a sudden surge of inspiration thanks to a movie and an old character I've had in my head for a while.
Franky!
A former test subject, the purpose being to reverse the effects of death, Franky is one of, if not the only successful subjects to emerge. Having left her 'first life' behind, she took on the name Franky, 'affectionately' earning it from the scientists and soldiers at the lab, a clear play on Frankenstein's monster.
The virus injected into her bloodstream moments before her final breath (one of the reasons she survived at all) has bonded marvelously with her body, allowing her near-immunity to death itself. As with every experiment like this, however, there are side effects.
Franky has to eat, a lot, and frequently, to keep up with her body's new fastforwarded metabolism. Though she doesn't crave flesh or the like, meats are generally more filling and more efficient as a food source, but she still prefers all her meat cooked. She has enhanced strength and speed, but not completely inhumanely so, merely enhanced for someone of her size. While she can throw someone around, she's not proficient at hand-to-hand fighting, so she prefers to fight defensively, incapacitating the attacker and then disengaging and fleeing as quickly as possible.
When injured, Franky's body reacts before she can properly think - the more severe the injury, the more severe the reaction.
For example, in one of the drabbles I have written, the character was shot accidentally while trying to deescalate a situation. While the character was aware it was accidental, the virus in her body reacted in an attempt to 'survive'. She was able to reign herself in slightly, but she still wound up throwing the shooter across the room, knocking him out.
Overall, Franky isn't around to harm. She utilizes the virus to her advantage, taking out threats that most normal people wouldn't be able to handle, or putting herself in bodily harm's way to save others. While wary and untrusting of strangers, she's not cruel and does go out of her way at times to help out.
I would likely focus on Franky getting called to assist old childhood friends, and discovering that the same company that experimented on her so long ago has now accidentally infected others (said friends included) with an outbreak.
This wound up being very rambly, but that's pretty much how I work out character ideas. xD Thanks for reading and good luck finding a home for such a cutie! :D
