So recently I adopted a pet from someone and the pet was apparently intended for someone else and the person adopting the pet out simply forgot. I friended the person who the pet was originally intended for and went to transfer the pet to them but it's telling me I have to wait 30 days to transfer this pet again.

I guess my question is, why can't I find more info on this on the site? I have tried to look through site rules and other places and I can't seem to find the rules or wait times for transfers. Any link to specific rules and such for transferring pets would be really helpful. Thanks!

I think the 30 day limit was originally instated so that people couldn't trade battle pets around, because you can't battle with a transferred pet for 30 days. There was a big problem where people would trade their tier 11 pet, fight, then trade back. There might be others reasons, but that's one I know about.

That's totally understandable and a good reason for them to keep it in place. I guess I just wish it was made more apparent to users who may not know this. Maybe put it somewhere on the Pet Transfers page, or just in the FAQ somewhere?

Huh wow, there is no mention of it. Perhaps make a topic in the suggestion thread? I know that pounded pets can also have the timer still stuck on them, too, from one I wanted to send over to a friend.
