Heyo, it's been a LONG time since I looked into upgrading my set, but considering a bunch of new weapons are out...I want to see what's changed compared to a couple years back.
Looking to update my sights on what I should buy/save up for. :D
Battle Pet Stats
Konosku, my battle pet who's been trained evenly up until now...
Level: 906
Health: 2266 / 2266
Strength: 2266
Strength: 2430
Defense: 2302
Intelligence: 879
AP: 55
Tier: 11
Have I been training even for too long? I'm not really sure when the split off point is/was, but I'd like some general advice on even stats vs uneven. What should I prioritize training?
Current Weapon Set

I'm fairly lost when it comes to scrolls and updating weapons, especially as I go up in tiers. x-x Are we at 13 now, or is it still 12?
Thanks for taking a read and offering advice!
It'll be expensive, but I can't overstate how life-changing The Ether and Natasha were when I got to T11. I still use them throughout my BQs except when I have to trade out The Ether for Paint Brush Blades (speaking of which, if you have Sophie as a challenger...).
Also, if and when you're able, you should build an Intricate Energized Helmet from the Battle Shop components to replace those Specs (though it's not like they're shabby by any means).
T11 is when you really get access to weapons that block a large amount of one or two icons and have 9-10% heal, along with blessings and curses. So this is when you start to be able to handle challengers that are dealing a ton of damage in 3-4 types. Like says, getting those weapons can be life changing if you're getting stuck against an opponent that's dealing gobs of fire damage.
You may want to check out 's guide on end game weapons here.
You might want to replace Terra Focujin with Aftershocks, as while it offers less heal, it have block and damage. It's 15AP I think.
I am still saving for a , it has been the weapon that I've seen recommended (that is constantly for sale). Like mentioned, are awesome too. You should work on making two of the , so you can ultimately upgrade one into is a great weapon too.
Are you looking to beat anyone in particular?
And agreeing with about the ! is amazing too, you can get one by beating the final Forj 5 times.
In general, you should work on getting more AP as well! :)
Thank you!!! I definitely want to go for the helmet, but I don't have enough tokens yet. Figured I sghould upgrade my set + look at my stats to start taking down the harder opponents, since I find I usually don't have enough health to tank them out.
I'll take a look at those two weapons! :o Definitely pricey.
Which opponent gives Aftershocks as loot? :o I think I can work my way up to that! Will take a look at that guide also!
(Just saw that it's final Forj, whoop!)
Thank you! I think in general I am still trying to work my way through the unlocked/cash shop challengers and the regular ones. I stopped when I couldn't beat the remaining ones at T9 and got back into battling now, so I want to clean up what I can take down now!
Or in theory, what I should be able to take down with a better set!
I think I stopped somewhere around Wyrmgear?
Crithbolcan drops it. It’s a cash shop challenger summoned by the Signet Fusion Knuckles if you feel like splurging this Black Friday.
Apparently I have that opponent, so i'll start trying to fight it! :D
The Brotus (a CS challenger) was where I learned the value of the right weapons. He was kicking my butt until someone lent me The Ether with its physical blocking and all of a sudden I'm wiping the floor with him. With the right set you should be able to start getting to level 25 in BQs fairly regularly with your stats where there are now, or at least coming close.
Thanks! I think I undervalued the BQs because I haven't done any in ages...those can raise stats, right?
I think I will start trying to do General Error and the Forj's to get some of those items for now! :o
I made that mistake too. :) BQs are a constant source of exp that will really get your pet stronger faster.
Tried my hand at some BQs and i'm around level 25/26 in them! Though I did get the paintbrush blades and use some exp I had saved up on attack/defence so I think that helped!
Definitely finding it interesting how some same tier opponents are mega easy and then others I can barely get 1-2 wins on...like you said I think this is when it comes down to set and customizing for certain opponents, if i'm realizing it right! :o
The right weapons will help you get through your remaining opponents :) And definitely hit those BQs! They are awesome for growing your pet. ^_^ You can also work through battling the opponents to get Amulets and Tomes from them. Not sure if you've seen the loot tracker yet, but most opponents drop amulets & tomes when you beat them up a ton of times.
One of the things I love about BQs is how they measure your progress. The Hustler used to be one I dreaded, now I look forward to the easy win. :) Getting to level 25 the first time was a huge thing, and then it became about getting there consistently. After that, beating Chase and Crawbeast were the challenges. Now it's about finally beating Prodigy and no longer having to skip any. :)
Good to keep in mind!! :D
I finally scrammed out 10 wings against General Error and got my hands on the scroll! That health drain though...is it essentially like a bomb scroll? :o
Don't worry about the health drain from Psycho Smasher. It's a very good freezing scroll and hopefully you have weapons that will gain that health back anyway. :)
Super, thank you! I used it a few times and managed to start some chain freezing, so I definitely enjoy it so far! :D
Time to grind on Forj.
Was general error's rapier removed as a prize? :o
Chain freezing - something to love when you're doing it, something to hate when it's being done to you. :D
I do think they removed the rapier as a prize from General Error, I don't see it listed on the 1P prize tracker spreadsheet. If I recall correctly, I had to buy mine.
