​​On National Homemaker Day on November 3, we celebrate the women and men who keep our households running! This special day is devoted to celebrating and appreciating all labor done in homes, including looking after children, cooking, buying groceries for the family, doing laundry, cleaning the house, carrying out much-needed repairs and doing all the little and big things done every day and often overseen.

Luckily I can share the housekeeping stuff with my flatmate ... because we're both working full-time at the office. So I buy groceries and do the laundry for both of us, she cooks every evening, and we clean up together! 😊 Sometimes she has to leave for a weekend though, and then I clean up EVERYTHING MWAHAHA XD Uhm.

I'm not a homemaker, but my character Lissa is.

She gets a lot of her relaxation growing flowers.

This is my day of cleaning. Pick up the house and clean and try to keep little doggie out of the way, he likes to help:

This is my day of relaxing. I love my dogs and we play ball for awhile then they like to lay down on the bed with me and take a nap :) This was years back since these 3 babies have gone to the rainbow bridge now. I now have Roxie and she and I do basically the same and we cuddle a lot. No dog pic of our big Roxie she weighs abiut 150lbs, But she doesnt seem big to us :)

After a long (and loud) day with the kiddos and critters I love to relax by listening to music and having some coffee in my comfy clothes.

I decided to make a character from my mom's story~ her name's Madison, she lives in a household with 5 other adults and 11 children - her husband, his siblings and their spouses, and all their kids. Though only three of the children are hers biologically, she considers all of them theirs. Of the adults, she's the one who takes care of the household primarily. Though the others help around the house and the kids do a lot of the chores, she still has to organise all of it, make sure everyone gets fed, the house stays clean, the garden and farm stay upkept and producing. She likens it to leading a small army. So for the first HA I have her gardening, which is one of the most important things to keeping the family fed. (She's also a witch, hence the wand.)

For relaxing, I had her going to coffee with her friends, probably for a good long gossip.

My Ha is showing me early in the morning making a lunch package for hub and feeding the cats, hair all astray. Afterwards, I´ll hp to bed again until my alarm tells me to wake up for practice which usually isn´t before 9ish.
