Hey, I very much want the hair that my avatar has..... <3
I have no idea what to tell the hairdresser though.
I think I have it narrowed down to a long asymmetric inverted bob with layers and choppy bangs? ... xD
So, real talk, I took a picture of Sailor Uranus in to a salon at one time and was like, "Could you do this with my hair?" and the lady was so sweet about it. She was like, "I've never used a cartoon as reference before, but I'll see what I can do!" and consulted me every step of the way. I ended up loving the haircut.
Just kind of scope out hairstylists you think have a chill or laid-back personality and then be like, "Hey, so I know this is a weird request but I saw this hairstyle on a website and fell in love with it, but I was having trouble finding something that looked like this on an actual model. Is this ok?" I bet you anything a good stylist would be willing to work with you. :) If you're not comfortable though, I totally understand! Unfortunately, I'm not enough of a pro with hair to help you out on the technicalities, but I wish I could help out there.
'That's awesome. I admit I would be a little embarrassed to bring it a picture of my HA. I have this weird thing where..... I love Subeta and Dappervolk incredibly.... but I get super embarrassed at playing it around anyone and never mention them in the real world.
I know that most of the people on here are adults, but for some reason I feel childish bringing it up. I can't imagine your bravery bringing a photo of a character to a stylist.

No, I totally understand! It all comes down to what you feel comfortable with. I don't blame you, as some people can be awfully petty and judgmental about what makes other people happy. (And they can go jump in a lake, but I digress.)
I did some hunting to try and find you some reference pictures that were close. I mostly looked up "female punk cuts" and "wavy asymmetrical cuts" and things of that like and these are what I found: (x) (x) (x)
