I'm making a pet that is a wandering soul and want his TC items so be representative of both life and death :3

My first thought was, "I need more info!"

What's the idea/theme behind the items in the TC, ideally? Are they mementos from a previous life, or just signifiers of the two sides of life/death, or something else, like items that illustrate the plot of this character's journey?

I mean, there's a metric ton of death/shadow/skeleton related items and just as many that deal with plants/life/growth, so narrowing it down to a specific theme or feeling might help a bit, or even something like "I want items that show the duality of both in the same item."

More like mementos, really. But I was thinking of things that represent the concepts themselves, mostly

I have the feeling I'm not going to be much help, since I'm having a lot of trouble with this. It's still so broad.

I mean, there are the obvious life/death references that might not look so fancy:

There are the general concepts, like seeds = life, tombstones = death:

Or items that are pretty and may only tangentially relate to the topic:

Or items that are related to the topic metaphorically but could also be mementos:

I mean, there's so much to choose from and not much information about the pet to specify what would fit best about it.

Schwarz is an angel of death, and the first part of the TC (before it all goes black XD) contains a lot of death and spirit related items.

Rome has a lot of bone/skeleton items and ghost items.

Hope they could be of some help. As for life, I tend to think of plant and light just based on symbolism. Let me know if you'd like some suggestions on plant items since I have a TC with that theme.
