The art is gorgeous, but I'm...not certain about the way his glasses hide his eyes? He looks kind of suspicious now, and I miss his more wide-eyed "Who, me? I couldn't possibly have been the one to explode the pumpkin patch!" expression.

Didn't Curie used to have a fearful expression like something ominous is happening around the lab? I'm kind of confused now.

I think it's his hair that makes his head look squished down. Overall, definitely an improvement!

The shading looks miles better, but something looks rather off with his eyes and head shape. I think if his glasses were shrunk a bit + lowered some, and if his hair were given a bit more volume he would look a better. For a visual example of what I mean, compare to his headshot here (which I think came from a plot from a while back, if memory serves.)

Iunno, I'm diggin' it. His facial structure and features remind me of someone that's East Asian. ... Oh no, he and Jax are going to start Subeta's first S-Pop Morostide group.

Everything except his head is an improvement. I don't like how hidden his eyes are now, how overly fluffy his hair is, or the odd head shape.

Love it except for two things:

His head looks a might squished. Could probably be fixed just by making the hair floofier on top. Second, the way his eyes are hidden behind his glasses makes it look like he has a disgusted look on his face, which doesn't really fit his eccentric but bubbly semi-mad scientist personality.

I'm not really a fan. While the overall art is arguably better, Ian has more of a personality now and I don't think this art reflects it. He looks angry, tired, and suspicious - not the goofy Ian that has been portrayed. The glasses aren't practical and hide most of his face, and he looks a bit... squished? In addition, the colors, shading, etc. seem quite harsh, especially when contrasted to older (but still newer) art such as Blake Steele, Elwood, Melody, Yaza, Merana, etc. It just doesn't seem to be the most cohesive/consistent. I understand there are different artists on staff, but I still think it's important to take it into consideration.

I kind of like him? I agree he has a lil squished face because of his hair and his glasses could have been lower? But overall, I really like him! Can we just take a moment to appreciate this beautiful and soft Rreign ?! He went from 'human wtf are you doing ...' to 'eh eh that's my human right here'. I'm digging it big time!

I like the revamp overall, but I do agree that the glasses covering his eyes so much is my least favorite thing about it. It could maybe help with his general expression if that bit was fixed.

Am I the only one who, for a split second, thought that he had had an amputation on his left arm?

Damn i was hoping his hair would change with the revamp but i didn't expect purple frodo. I think he would look cool with it in a lazy bun or pony, the loose hair is a hazard in the lab and i don't think jaxon would approve

I'm not too fond of the head/face for the same reasons that others have mentioned. Old Ian's hair was also a lot more blue.
