I noticed there's a lot on these forums that are helping with venting or telling stories about frustrating things, and I was thinking it could be great to share stories about great things that are happening in people's lives.
Like, for instance. My husband and I were basically homeless for the last month, and his job had screwed him over and he had to quit. And a few days ago, we found a temporary home and he got a new job, and everything is looking great! We're doing a lot better, we're happier, healthier, and we are having a good time here!
Congratulations! I'm so glad that everything is looking up for you both. ^-^
Something nice for me: yesterday one of my old coworkers messaged me out of the blue asking for a cosplay commission, and I'm super excited! It's the first time anyone has ever commissioned me to make them something, and it's so validating to know that my work is appreciated! c':
Everyone on Subeta is so kind and nice and it always makes my day when I’m in a mood. Thank you for the positivity.
i found this post when im trying to enter the blue building so this helped me to progress

Well...Monday's almost over. That's nice.
I'm starting to see signs of my cat, Emma, wanting to play with and be nice to Ben, her new little brother. That's very nice, because right now I separate them when I'm not home to supervise, so itty-bitty Ben has to spend the day in my computer room. I can't wait for the day when they get along well and I can let them be together all the time.
I've had bad acne since I was about 14 and now 10 years later I finally feel good when I look in the mirror and when I'm washing my face it finally feels like a flat, smooth surface thanks to my discovery of cutting dairy out of my diet and visiting a chiropractor to align my spine so proper information is able to make it all the way through my spinal cord and fix my acne problems (mostly)!
"Dang son, where'd you find this?"
I recently received a cute little venus flytrap as a gift, which has yet to be named! Ideas have been floating around, such as naming it after the plant in Little Shop of Horrors. ^^ He has been doing very well in my care, and is even growing to be too large for his terrarium. I can thank him for taking care of the small nat problem that had been developing in my house, haha!
edit: Here's a bunch of good news! My horrible brother in law moved out. I'm on meds that are helping. I've lost 20 pounds in the last 9 months. I love my job, I play with dogs for a living. Yay!
I was at a friend's wedding last weekend as a bridesmaid. I'd kind of been apprehensive about it because I'm not a huge wedding person, and I had to travel quite a ways to do so, but I'm SO happy I went. It was seriously so much fun being somewhere I hadn't been before, and getting to know a bunch of new people and partying. The wedding itself was beautiful and everything went smoothly.
I also met a really good-looking guy where I rented my car from, which was nice too haha!
Today is the 35th birthday of my fursona, Velindra-Jay Hedgehog <3 (17/8/2019) Happy birthday, ya spiny AF bizatche XD
Today was also the arrival of my handsome AF Lykoi Kitty partial suit, Quentynn Maximillian (my forum image until I can get his 'Nova Expo photos done in November =D)
I received an upgrade to my job title at work this week (bonus OT pay over Christmas, aw yiss!)
And I made delicious edible choc chip cookie dough today, 1000/10 will definitely make again :9
Find me on Bluesky: <3
My birthday is coming up (it's this Friday) and my boyfriend gave me my gift early when it arrived. He bought me a signed copy of the album Trench from twenty one pilots on CD. He knows how much that album and that band mean to me and how much I idolize the duo from the band, so receiving that just made me cry so hard and feel so loved!! Best gift ever. I will cherish it forever.
The tiny, half wilted $1 plant that I got the other day is slowly starting to perk up properly. It's in the middle window of my bedroom where it gets the warmest.
I have another of the same species that's like three times the newbie's size and I have them together, hoping that newbie takes after its cousin and grows. XD

I managed to translate few Shiina Ringo songs. I love her work so much I can't help it~ ❤ I also got to eat lots of food today and slept a lot. GOOD STUFF!

i got to hand feed a pigeon today!! my bro and i got two slices of pizza and were sitting on a bench eating them, and this pigeon was hanging around looking for crumbs but wouldn't get close i started throwing crumbs around it and eventually it trusted me enough to peck lil pieces of pizza from my hand ' v '
My life is pretty good right now, I would say. My hubby is out of town, but he will be back tomorrow. I have a great apartment with plenty of space (and a lot of video games to play.) Things are looking pretty promising as of right now.

I cried tonight, but happy tears.
Playing D&D my character died, just a mix of bad dice rolls. I'd accepted her death but the other players rushed to get her to some priests and paid to bring her back to life. We've literally played 4 sessions together and I was so anxious that I was getting on their nerves because they're all kind of quiet so I've been taking the lead since the start, but this really proved otherwise. And they all said that they're invested, and they all consider my character a friend to theirs and me a friend to them.
On top of that on Thursday one of my players who is in my Sunday game also said something along the lines of "I joined this game just to have another excuse to have you be my DM." when I was expressing worries over my DMing skills. It's just been happy tears all week, I can't help it <3
Deep cleaned my entire house!!! Had a mold problem which was terrible to deal with, but now seeing how clean my place is, I'm almost thankful I had that push to finally tidy up more...
I'm also going back to university! I dropped out in 2014 because of homelessness and now I'm finally in a secure place financially to return! I just turned 25 so I've been worrying about my future, so this new chapter feels like a huge blessing to me
