I had to reset my HA base due to a glitch and now I can't remember how I removed the base eyes in the first place. Is there a guide on how to delete/hide them? For now, I've dragged them behind the base, but I'd like to just delete them.

Well...when I went to my wardrobe, there were no eyes selected at all, so I'd managed to delete them at some point. I know I'm not brilliant enough to come up with how to do it all on my own. I had to have found out from someone.

That was probably part of your bug and why your wardrobe needed resetting, tbh. xD

Maybe so, but I haven't had to hide the eyes on my HA in...well, I can't remember how long it's been. Maybe it stopped working, IDK.

There used to be a "no eyes" option but there isn't anymore now that the facial features are layerable. I don't have any eyes selected for my HA because I haven't used base eyes since the skins were added, but there's no way to unselect them anymore
