I coulda sworn up and down on me mam we had saffron threads or something but I guess it was a heat-haze dream. And Yikes my food gallery is an unsorted mess right now rip. It would be so awesome to see these spices and herbs added to the site though ahh.
Also spice mixes oh damn I'm a sucker for spice mixes tell me you guys are also suckers for spice mixes, someday we gotta get gochujang and ssamjang and miso and baharat and five-spice asdfghjkl.

Those spices could be included as stock for Fresh and Flavourful, and the herbs could make part of the Food Market goods!

Would also love some Subetan spices.. maybe some dried versions of the peppers (cannot remember their names right now) and powdered versions of Subetan fruits?

I need all of these for TCs. I'd actually love to see more "fresh" spices and dried spices, too.
Definitely support. Saffron should cost like a million sp. Go for the realism. I am kidding. >_>
Also cumin, different forms of turmeric, parsley (how do we not have dried parsely?), celery seed... I actually looked in my spice cupboard to see what we have lol.
How would you like something like this to be drawn?
Would you like it raw, in a little pile? Or in a bottle like in a shop? Or in some kind of little home made pot/jar type thing? I never know how to draw these in a way they'd be most liked!

Yeah, it's a very difficult choice!
In a perfect world, I'd love to see the dried spices in various sized jars (aesthetics, when in a TC my brain says it looks better for the items to appear more unique), but realistically I know our chances of getting more options = recolored jars. But even having different colored/sized labels would be really neat.
I'd also love to see fresh herbs and spices, like the Saffron flower is really beautiful (and an entirely different character would love to have it -laughs-) and having a tumeric root would be just as swell as having a jar of ground tumeric.
I also love the little bits of knowledge that come with these sorta things- I never knew Saffron came from a flower, until now, and it wasn't until last year I knew Tapioca was a root and basically just cassava (but that may just be me).
I feel like the herbs (especially ginseng!) could be sold raw in the Fresh and Flavorful shop on the Floating Market.
As for the spices... I guess it depends. If sold in the Food Market, they would probably be in glass jars/bottles, preferably with either metal lids or corks. I agree with that different sizes and shapes of bottle/jar would be really nice, but I can also see how that would make things rough on the artists.
If sold in the Cavern of Curios, they could be in baskets, like some of the other spices there (star anise, cinnamon, etc). They could also be sold in large open bags, or in pyramid-shaped piles in open pots/bowls.

Hahaha, ok, so you want them in all of their forms! I know of all the ways we could release them, I was just checking as to if there was a preference :) But I see we're at the point of 'I'll take anything!' - Noted!
