I'm gonna just jump right into it - Whenever I'm not studying, I like to roleplay. One of the things I've been messing around with in my head is starting a super-powered roleplay, but I don't really wanna have it only be a 1x1 roleplay (though I don't see why that wouldn't be possible if people wanted to do that with their characters too). I want to start up a group roleplay so a wide variety of people can come join in.
The setting is pretty simple - it takes place in a world (yes, a world, not just a particular state or country) where the first super-powers are starting to appear. They can be anything from "enhanced visibility" (the ability to become more visible and noticeable after doing something) to "metal exoskeleton" (shaping metal around your body to provide armor) to "Present Manipulation" (the ability to manipulate the present time and events as it's happening). This means that while the powers are varied and a true gift of ability - They are also incredibly dangerous.
To make this harder, I'm making the amount of super-powered characters limited, so each side may not have the same amount of characters - unless they can find some way to explain logically why someone gets a new power.
I only have two limits (well, okay, one's a request) on the actual characters -
The request: Your character must be based on - at least in part - of yourself. I'm not asking for a complete carbon copy of yourself with super-powers (though if you want to do that, that's fine too.) But I'd like them to have at least a big bit of who you are as a person built into them. You don't have to talk about which bit is - just keep that in mind.
If we hit at least six people, I'll start working on setting up the actual OOC.
I'm interested! Sounds like a lot of fun. ^-^
It's been a couple of months, but are you still interested in doing this? Like maybe weekends as I'm studying too, or not I'm not too picky.
Interested as well. If this post is inactive however and someone else is interested, feel free to message me for 1x1.
I'd be interested! It's been a while since I last role played and I absolutelly love it. I only have to warn ya'll that I'm not native so I might happen to have words mispelled or gramatic errors from time to time.
