On Thursday hurricane Michael remnants passed through where I live and it knocked out cable/internet (the same service) . Not power, just those things. We reported it immediately and were told that they were working on it. So I've been using my phone data to do anything and had to get more data credited. So sorry for any typos. It's been days now and we haven't seen any technician out here, and we were told it was a widespread outage. So we're waiting. Finally today we call back and find out that 1. "The outage was cleared up"uh except for us, and 2. Because the outage was "cleared up" our appointment/ticket was canceled without our knowlege. No call back. So we've been waiting for days for nothing because they never sent someone out here and for some reason assumed it was fixed. And now we have to wait two more days for someone to hopefully finally come out here.or so they say. Really mad about this inconvenience, now I get to miss my tv shows this weekemnd. Yaaay. im really sorry i know today is important but you know my cable company is ignorant.

Jeeze it's a wonder they still have jobs. They never informed you, that's on them. Don't worry about today, it's okay! We can always just do what we planned when you have internet again or something. I'm really sorry you're going to miss your shows though, that sucks! Also, using phone data super sucks too. I know my parents and I share a data plan so I'm always freaked out when our internet goes out. My dad needs it the most because he uses the GPS on his phone when he's out a lot. I hope they get your internet and cable back on soon!

I'm glad that you're safe and you at least have cell phone data to fall back on. (Side annoyance, having to pay for extra phone data.) I hope your cable company gets to you soon and are cool enough to maybe give you some account credit, though based on my experience with a cable company (Comcast, specifically) they won't give your account credit even if it's their fault.
