NATIONAL HOBBIT WEEK

Yesterday was National Hobbit Day! Gandalf the Grey said it best: “Hobbits really are amazing creatures.” This September, celebrate National Hobbit Day by recognizing J.R.R. Tolkien’s most lovable and heroic characters. Shy, yet capable of great courage; reluctant to leave their homes, yet thirsty for adventure; quiet and peaceful, yet eager to host parties, Hobbits have endeared generations with their affable complexities. This Fall, enjoy one of Tolkien’s classic written works, and let your imagination take you on an adventure alongside Frodo and Bilbo Baggins. Just remember: “home is behind, the world ahead” – J.R.R. Tolkien.

As we all know, hobbits do enjoy the occasional adult beverage ;) My hobbit is a lovely maiden who enjoys hosting parties in her hobbit home. She loves the company of her fellow hobbits! She also loves cooking, baking, and decorating her home. The supper would include some of the following foods:

Hobbits are not adventurous and most of them they don't like travel. Despite this, all Hobbits occasionally leave their own valley and travel at least to the borders of the Shire. All of them exept Dugo Buck. Dugo is one of the oldest Hobbit living in the Shire and one of the one of the most deaf. In all his life he never moved more than 200 steps from Buckburg. Despite this he's knowlege is extemly huge, so huge everybody wonder how can be stored in a so short body. He knows all about Hobbits history and culture: agriculture, pastoralism, pipe-weed, cream cakes and much more. He knows many stories about elves, ogres, dragons... stories of distant and exotic places. Her granddaughter Olga remains enchanted to hear those stories and, from time to time, she asks him "have you ever been there, grandpa?" He gruffly replies to her "a respectable Hobbit never leave the Shire" No, e never ever been out the Shire. All he knows has learned it from books, thousands of books that swarm in his home

Outfit Not Found This is Prim! She has been busy for the last MONTH gathering books of sheet music and practicing for her musical debut. It's not a big deal to anyone else, there is always live music and dancing when it comes to Hobbit feasts. This, however, will be her first time preforming, and she wants it to be perfect.

Here we see Poppy Fairfoot, the only thing she loves more than tending to her garden in the quiet of the Shire is a party with good friends and lots of delicious food. As far as she is concerned there is no excuse to small to have a party full of food and drink. She's even willing to stay after the party to help clean up if you offer her an extra glass of mead.

This is Esmeralda Longfoot. She loves an adventure but reluctantly leaves her home. When she gets the courage to leave her house, she enjoys archery and playing hide and seek with her sister and brother in the woods near by.

My hobbit lady's name is Elanor. She loves to leave town and go up the mountains and pick fruits and vegetables. She loves eating and her favorite is always fresh and she likes to have enough to share all around. So she goes up to the mountains quite often and she sure enjoys being there.

My hobbit girl LOVES breakfast. Tater tots are her absolute favorite but let's be fair, potato anything is amazing. She likes to garden, mostly marigolds, and daises, and even has a few bean stalks and tomatoes growing. When she wants to relax she likes to curl up in front of the fire with a good book and her cat Lemon.
