Other than the name change totem, is there any other way to change a pet's name?

Yes, go to your pets page and click the dropdown arrow for the pet whose name you want to change. Then click "Change Name" in the menu (third option from the top). You then get taken to a page to put in the new name, and it costs 500 CSC.
