I've never blocked anyone so I'm not quite sure how it works.

Someone's shop name is messing up the tables, so I was thinking if I block them I won't see the shop anymore? And my tables will go back to normal?

Shops are not included in the block, to the best of my knowledge. If someone's shop name is messing up the tables, my recommendation would be to alert them to it -- they might not have any idea! If they do, and it's intentional, then I'd say feel free to file a ticket so that the staff can get it sorted out. :)

I can confirm from experience blocking and being blocked that shops are not affected by blocking either way or both. 's knowledge is correct by how it has worked for me for years

Sometimes changing your fontsize or screen magnification can help? I know CW shops have a lot of controls on them on who you can allow to buy from you in the way that normal shops don't. I don't think CW shopowners can control who can see their shopname though.

we have NO controls on who buys from our CW shops in the cash shop at all aside from passwords which most don't use, they're nearly the same as usershops. T

the ONLY controls we have is when we slot on the forums, THEN we can deny people slots. and the only way in shop purchases can be stopped is with a password. Otherwise its a regular shop and we don;t even know who buys. And in the grand majority of shops very few items are locked...

ah my mistake, thank you. Just goes to show I don't understand my own CW shop.

Can you give out a password that only works on one person? With a password, someone giving it to someone you blocked would be circumventing the Rules and therefore liable for a Warning, but there'd be no way to confirm it since who made the purchase isn't there.

When you send an invite it’s a one time use that only that person can use and it tells you who buys :) if you have a master password and tell people then if that person told anyone they could circumvent it BUT most people just send out invites to keep it simple :)

In case anyone is really bothered by a shop's name, get the URL of the shop and then add the following to your Custom CSS:

div.shop_name a[href="put the url of the shop here"] {display: none;}

That'll suppress the shop from any search results.

The above code didn't work for me - maybe I made a typo.

But this worked .row[data-shopid="ENTER SHOP ID"] {display: none;}

You should be able to get the SHOP ID by hovering over the shop link.

Hi there, could you please make a ticket and let me know the shop name (and preferably the shop owner or shop ID number if you happen to know it)? I want to look into if the formatting for it is something we can fix on our end. Please put "ATTN: Bug" in the ticket title :)

If you don't remember the details, anything you can remember about the shop would help.
