ok so Ive been talking to this lady who does custom work. she says she has a ebay..(I can not find her ebay) She says if I send her the materials she will do the painting and everything and I will just pay shipping..

I did see 2 customs(they had sold in july) done by her on ebay but the seller name was not the one she gave me. but the made by had the name the lady gave me.

she has sent me pics of customs she has supposedly done.

Note: I would not have to provide the paints,or the stuff that holds the item together she says she has all that. Me getting the materials is so I can choose the colors and shapes. Also that is how I get out of the items fee.. since I will be providing almost everything.

My backup plan: I have another seller on hold they want the supplies and 100 for their time plus 20 for shipping.. I can find this ones ebay.

i would not trust for 1 second the lady whose account i cannot find - sounds WAAAAY fishy and like a scam. sounds as if she's using stolen photos (quite common in some circles :( )

I would trust the 2nd seller more since they can be found on ebay. Why dont they use etsy, though? (no need to answer this - im just a bit surprised, that's all)

well turns out the reason I could not find the ebay was she didn't give me the ebay acount name. It was what she called her shop. The seller I found was actually her I tested her I sent the ebay seller a message and bingo she was able to answer the question only she would know the answer to. question was related to the customized item I was wanting.

turns out shipping is 47.00 item would be 4 pounds when completed..

However, the situation as initially described sounded suspicious, and i did hear some horror stories from people who ordered various custom made costumes online, only to receive something really weird. this happened because the seller was most likely lying. i am too someone who sells my writing skills online, and i had a few people asking me to fix what other writers messed up >.> So i'm quite familiar with such situations.

got to get the rest of the money first. Im working on it.. I told her I would show it on video and show the c.o.a it will have her as the painter. she does customs where she lives.. but mine is a special case and since I will provide the supplies she said all she wanted was me to pay shipping. im doing the video as a thank you.

her ebay is not customs its items she made and sells. she NEVER makes the same item twice.

so the 2nd seller would have costed me more..

item actually varies in price the stuff minus the paint,glue,and other stuff going to cost me 72 dollars and some change. so the item is over 100.00 in materials..

oh, that makes sense why you wanted to work with the first seller. :)

now just got to come up with 63.74 it is all I have left to come up with. good part I don't pay shipping till the item is completed.
