HA Challenge
It is time for another HA challenge! Today's theme is about a famous wizard family, the Weasleys! Who haven't met one of them at least once? Hogwarts saw them grow and learn in their childhood and today we would like for you to chose one of the members and do an HA in their honor. Pick your favorite or least favorite and tell us why. You don't need to follow previous images of them from books or movies, just make them as you imagine they were like. (You can pick any of the Weasely, parents or children, even grandchildren).
Theme: Weasely Family
Rules:
🔹 Make a new HA representing your chosen character. (No recycling)
🔹 Give the name of the character you are representing and give us a brief bio on them. (No more than three sentences)
🔹 Tell us why you love or don't love this character. (No more than two paragraphs)
🔹 Don't forget to add your name and house to the entry.
Don't forget that each student can enter one character HA only. All those who follow the rules will be granted 10 points!
This challenge will end Wednesday August 22 at 11:59PM.

I don't know any of the Weasleys, as our families don't socialise much, but I once saw Fleur Delacour Weasley at a teahouse in wizarding London, and I thought she was so beautiful and very tastefully and creatively dressed.
Callista Zabini, Slytherin

Mallowsweet, Gryffindor Outfit Not Found Charley Weasley. The second oldest of the Famous Weasley brothers who fought in the Great Wizarding War. He could have had fame and fortune as a great Quidditch player, but instead chose to study dragons in Romania.
Why is he my favorite? One word, Dragons! It takes a special kind of wizard to work with dragons. It is said he loved the forest and all the creatures in it. He must have had great empathy and respect for all other living creatures. I really like that.

This is Cedrella Weasley, née Black, she was the pureblood daughter of Arcturus Black II and Lysandra Black (née Yaxley). After marrying Septimus Weasley, Cedrella was burned from the Black family tree because the Weasleys are considered blood traitors if you ask certain people. Her picture on the Black family tapestry shows her wearing a reddish-brown witch hat and there, she looks similar to her great-aunt Iola, who was also disowned from the family (she married a Muggle man named Bob Hitchens).
I chose to depict Cedrella as she represents Slytherin house in a way which is better than it is unfortunately often perceived or portrayed. She had non-biased views on blood purity and was not afraid to make her own steps in life, not regarding her family's wishes.
Her clothes might resemble the festive cloak Ron Weasley was wearing at the Yule Ball in 1994...but this is just a coincidence. This can't be a future hand-me-down! Right?

Outfit Not Found This is Molly Weasley before she was a Weasley. She is also a Prewett, one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. Molly is characterized by her fierce love for her family, maternal instincts, and devotion to those to wish to rid the wizarding world of evil (namely Harry and Dumbledore).
I love Molly because she is strong-willed and gutsy, great qualities for a consummate matriarch. She is depicted here in her youth, sneaking around the Hogwarts grounds on a night-time stroll. Arthur ended up getting caught by the caretaker at the time, but Molly made it back to Gryffindor Tower at four am. As far as the Weasley females go, I much prefer her to Ginny. (Ginny's character development always felt forced to me tbh.)
Parker Lange, Slytherin

Private Outfit Ginevra Weasley Last child and only daughter of Molly and Arthur Weasley. Not allowed to fly, she used to steal her brothers' brooms without them knowing and taught herself. I was always fond of Ginny in the books. She is so confident and independent and mischievous; it's hard not to like a female character like that.

George Weasley, son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. Co-owner of Weasley's Wizard Weezes.
In my opinion, he and his twin were some of the strongest Weasleys. They had so much pressure on them to do great things like their older brothers before them, but they didn't let it get to them. The twins did what they wanted and nothing anybody said would've changed their minds. They even opened one of the greatest joke shops of their time. George is my favorite because he is such a strong individual. He lost his other half during the Battle of Hogwarts and has to live with it everyday. He sees his twin every time he looks in the mirror, and yet he's still able to carry on. I can only wish to be as strong as George Weasley.

Meet Dominique Weasley shortly before she leaves home for her first term in Hogwards. She is the second daughter and middle child of Bill Weasley and Fleur Weasley (née Delacour). Dominique doesn´t know she´ll be sorted into Gryffindor soon.
I like this character very much because she is the not so well known middle child, sister to beautiful Victoire Weasley. Middle children are often selfless and very social because they never experienced how it is to be the spoiled only child or the cosseted youngest sibling. Dominique found her best friend outside from Gryffindor in Ravenclaw and certainly these traits played a part in contributing to this.
The other fascination of Dominique is being part-Veela. Being one-eighth Veela, she certainly can´t shift into a bird like a pure Veela is able to yet she should be able to entrance other beings and also dance beautifully. Veelas remind me very much of elves and fairies and I feel a connectedness to them being half elf. They certainly feel the strain standing between two worlds, too.

Perceval Ignotius Weasley is the third son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. He's probably also the less liked by his siblings. He has a somewhat strict and no nonsense personality. He works at the Ministry in the Department of Magical Transport.
I have a strange relation to this character, I do not hate him but nor do I absolutely love him either. He is part of these characters that are so human you cannot help but in the end understand them and their actions. It's after reading one fanfiction with him as the main character that I really started to appreciate him. He is a bit like Ron in some aspect, already two big brothers who are brilliant so he needs to be just as much (in his opinion of course). The choices he made while not all the best are logical according to his character. Overall I'm glad he exist, the Weasley wouldn't be complete without him.
oopale, Ravenclaw
Outfit Not Found I chose Percy, like Oopale. Middle child and rule lover. Made choices against the family wishes, but came out right in the end rejoined them.
I like him because he made the wrong choices then when he saw the badness around him corrected course to break rules to do what was right. He learned and his family embraced him. I love to see someone improve as a human being.
Nicola Stromwing, Hufflepuff
I decided to do Audrey Weasley. So little is known about her. We don't even know her family name. But, by association we can assume that she liked rules since I imagine that's the only way she would be able to keep Percy around. She married Percy and together they had two girls, Lucy and Molly (named after her paternal grandmother). I chose to show Audrey as a mother, wearing an apron to keep her clothes clean and holding a book. I'm not certain it's a cook book, but I image that since she would do things "by the book" it made sense to show her holding a book. :)

Aisling | Ravenclaw
- this one ends tonight!
What I like about him is his determination to focus on dragons - not being swayed by anything else.

I picked Arthur Weasley, head of the Weasley household. He is the father of all the Weasley kids in the books at Hogwarts and works for the Ministry of Magic.
He is my favorite Weasley because he respects muggles and finds them uniquely interesting. He marvels at what they can accomplish without the use of magic. He is also a very kind and loving husband and father, even seeing Harry as one of his and Molly's kids.
Toru | Hufflepuff
This is Victoire Weasley following in her father's footsteps as a curse breaker. Upon graduating from Hogwarts she immediately began an apprenticeship with Bill Weasley.
This branch of magic is my favorite and Bill's daughter continuing his work is just perfect to me.

William Arthur Weasley, better known as Bill, is the oldest of Arthur and Molly's children. After graduating Hogwarts, Bill obtained a job as Curse Breaker with Gringotts Wizarding Bank, working first in Egypt and then later in London. He fought valiantly in the Second Wizarding War as part of the Order of the Phoenix.
Bill is a man to be admired. Not only an intelligent and very accomplished wizard, he survived an attack by the notorious werewolf, Fenrir Greyback. He is both fun loving and serious, studious and playful; not to mention brave. The Sorting Hat certainly knew what it was doing when it placed Bill Weasley in Gryffindor! It is for all these reasons that I chose Bill Weasley as the member of the Weasley family I most admire.
