GENERAL UPDATES: August 9

⭐ Healer: I’ve updated the healing page a bit! Less scrolling and the addition of the battle navigation at the top, because let’s be real the only time we visit the healer is to heal after dumb challenger WRECK US. ⭐ When eating oofa fruits, if you find a bug you’ll now have a link back to your inventory! Before you’d only see this link if you didn’t find one. (I force fed so many of my pets oofa fruit to test this, just for you guys) ⭐ Thanks to teamwork from , , and the Golden Cadogre Mystical Toy will now change your pet into a golden cadogre. Curious as to why it didn’t work before? That combination was basically blocked from anyone but dumb Blackmoon from making it, which is just rude. ⭐ Games added to games room: Ruffie Raffle, Balloon Hunt, Bluff, Ring Toss, Mallarchy Pond! Games moved: Flight simulator is now arcade, leviathan harpooning is now chance, thimblerig is now mind.

Working on: 🔥 BHH (this page is so evil, it’s hard to test it) 🔥 Dailies page that’ll include things like job collecting income, zapper, hustler, quests, seasonal things like bird watching, etc. :) 🔥 and are still working on getting the wardrobe to where Ariel can move things around easy between layers. THIS PROJECT WILL HAPPEN!! 🔥 item menu, I swear. I dropped the ball, but I WILL GET IT DONE.

Hello everyone :) First off, let's begin with some of the usual tiny QoL updates:

• When you apply for a promotion at the job agency, it will now show you the number of days you have been employed in addition to how many days are required for the promotion.
• The Costume Trunks page now shows the trunks in alphabetical order, for ease of searching.
• I've also been helping clean up the games page and add more links to it.

I also wanted to give a few updates on some of the longer-term projects I've been working on specifically. I hope you guys can understand why we can't say too much about behind-the-scenes. At the same time, it's also not great to say too little, so please bear with me as I work to find the balance :)

Regarding The Site Layout - and Pet Profiles! You may recall that we made an announcement in this topic about the future of pet profiles. Tl;dr: The plan is to transition pet profiles to a new system, so that we can make site layout changes WITHOUT breaking pet profiles everywhere. We promised to pause all site layout changes until this was done.

I wanted to let you know that this project is coming along great! So far, we've set up the basic infrastructure for it as well as the code for converting pet profiles to the new system. I've tested on several of my pets (with tons of code, treasure items, etc) to make sure it's error-free. Here is a screenshot showing one of my pet profiles after converting to "legacy mode" in the new system - as you can see, it's looks identical to the current system despite having a lot of code and content. While I can't give an ETA yet for when this project will be completed, I can promise you it's being steadily worked on, and that we're taking our time to make sure the eventual release goes smoothly as can be.

You guessed it... the Item Directory Revamp! In a previous Thursday update, I hinted at a couple long-term revamp projects without saying what they were. One of them was the new Custom Clothing pages - did you guess correctly? Now, I'll finally reveal that one of the other projects is a revamp of the item directory! The new directory will allow you to search both official items and custom wearables. You'll be able to search things by item usage, item description, and more, while seeing lots of information about each item. Here is a quick screenshot as a sneak peek of what we've got for it so far!

I suggest keeping up with Admin Posts so you don't miss things like that and we don't have to post the same thing in multiple places. :)

I personally don't give time frames because things happen. Sometimes a project that is more important pops up (or a problem that requires attention) and we have to shift our focus or something in real life happens. On a personal note, sometimes I can't make deadlines for things because sometimes my health just doesn't allow me which just makes me feel horrible and it's a vicious cycle. I've found that on these threads, keeping it vague but still mentioning progress is better than giving a hard date and missing it/disappointing people and myself.
