Hi everyone!
As the title says, "1 year, 2 months, 3 weeks, 4 days" is a nice membership time so I decided to celebrate it by (finally) making an introduction topic.
First, let me tell you a story about me and Subeta :)

I came to Subeta in 2009 (well, at least an old registration e-mail in my mailbox is dated 2009) because I wanted a Kumos :D
Back then, I played another pet game and Kumos was a super-rare pet there. I wanted one but was unable to get it, and someone told me Kumos is a promo pet from Subeta.
So I came here :D I'm not sure if I got a Kumos as my first pet or fell in love with another species, but my 2nd and 3rd ones were definitely Lasirus and Fester.
Oh good old days, Festers with green hawks, world map with Atebus looking like a face with bubbly eyes...
But I played for not-so-long - a few months or even a few weeks. I don't remember why I forgot Subeta so fast (university and lack of free time? too many pet games for one little me? something else?) but I'm kinda regret it a bit. Well, okay, what's done is done.
In february 2017, I was thinking about pet games and decided to check if my super-old subeta account was still alive. Well it was not, what a surprise :D I even found and checked that old registration e-mail to make sure I use the right account name. Okay, let's give it another try, I said to myself - and re-registered. And it was the same old game and totally another one at the same time. Art style, pets, clothes, quests... but much, muuuuuch more convenient to play!
My first year here on New Subeta was a sparkly rainbow mix of "oh, another great feature" and "YAY Vesnali! YAY Morostide! YAY Luminaire!"
Totally love everything here!

Daily activities and holidays.
And - as a part of the gameplay - what I can take part in social activities with my almost-zero social skills :) You know, it's awesome to open a topic in a holiday forum and simply go through it giving flowers/kisses, without posting there myself. Posting is kinda hard for me even if I know no one will bite me for my post.
Now, after this loooong story, a "few" words about me.

"Esmy-nixe" is my long-used nickname. Esmy is short for "Esmeralda" and I use it since I've read "Notre Dame de Paris". Nixe is a fantasy water species, close to mermaids, I found this word in a book of medieval legends in my school years.
My real name is Darya (Dasha for short, Danny for international) but I prefer Esmy.
I'm a kidult and a little chubby seal in a human body :)
Love some kinds of crafts (some to do, some only to look at), cute things and cute creatures. My friends say I'm cute myself.
Also love "classic" fantasy with elves and magic realms. Love other genres of fantasy too but elves in a magic realm have more chances to get my heart :D
What else to tell? I don't know.
My plan for this year is to grow a bit over my shyness, to be a little more active in forums and to (finally) get my access to Blue Building. And to do other cool stuff, I'm still not familiar with some interesting game features :D tl;dr:
- played in 2009, lost account for inactivity, re-registered in 2017;
- totally love new Subeta;
- prefer nickname to real name; love crafts, fantasy and cute things;
- plan to get familiar with more cool features of the game

welcome back to you too :) how long were your hiatuses? I've seen "5 years" in this forum and heard about "10 years" from shoutbox so my own 8 years seem to be really long but not the longest.

Hi -nixe ❤️ I am so sorry that you lost your old Subeta account. I think I would cry if that happened to me... :( I am glad that you rejoined and are enjoying the site!! I love your username and your avatar's fawn/satyr theme~ I recently rejoined Subeta after a six year hiatus and was very surprised by all the changes! But I am really loving it. :)
