Ive been stockpiling things that I get free. Such as dog treats toothbrushes, toothpaste
I get them free from my dentist or coupons. MY dog gets 1 pound of treats on her b-day every year free from the pet store plus I got a lot of free dog treat coupons this year.
Im making a list of things I need to start stockpiling (that does not expire). Such as toilet paper.
I get a $10.00 visa card at least once a month.. I use it for a subscription service that sends me 5 items and a bag. the 5 items are a mix of skincare and makeup. So ive not had to spend any income on facial care.
Im trying to to go through my stuff and check expiration dates.. So I have a better idea of what I need. After I go through everything im going to do a project pan (use up as much product as I can before it expires).
Rules ive set for myself: Ive stopped opening up the new products till Im actually going to use them. so no smelling, swatching anything till I finish off whatever im using then open the new product. (unless of course I received it to review then I will not follow this rule.)
No buying any makeup or skin care (unless I use a coupon to make it free). I will stick to my $10.00 subscription bag and nothing else (except for products that I receive to review.)
No buying any body-wash till I finish what I have. (I have several bottles..)
Before buying items check ALL my apps (rebate apps) for any cash back offers.
any tips on stockpiling?
So far this month ive saved $24.96 1 toothbrush, 1 flea collar for puppy, 1 box of pop tarts, 1 subscription bag ALL FREE! (non of the money came out of my income)
SO far im pleased with my savings.
My goal is to stockpile what I can and try to stick to need instead of want. Im going to try and earn more than $10.00 card a month sometimes I can get $20.00 a month. Going to use ALL my non-income money on things I need such as the skincare which I can skip a month so it is flexible. The non-income money is how I got the puppies flea collar and the box of pop-tarts the toothbrush was from my dentist.
