I recently had the opportunity to adopt 'Has' and I am finding trouble deciding on a species and colour. Has would represent regret but also the fact that every cloud has a silver lining. I'd love to hear about what you think would be a good colour/species combi for Has.

I'm leaning onto angelic pets like the angelic darkonite, or nightmare pets like the nightmare endeavor..

One interesting thing I noticed about Angelic pets is how many of them are looking back over their shoulder - sometimes just an eye glance, sometimes a full head-turn; it seems like that sort of attitude would fit your pet well? Of course many of them have joyful expressions, which isn't so appropriate, but there are a few that look more serious, maybe rueful or possibly even slightly sad. IMO the Neela is your best bet but there are several others that might do.

Glacier has a few pets in similar poses, and also several quite sad(/regretful?)-looking pets (albeit mixed in with a lot of sheerly annoyed-looking pets!); although possibly they are just a bit too negative to match what you want.

And Storm pets seem to have a fairly wide range of attitudes, but all of them come in an appropriately subdued grey shade... I think the Magnus in particular has a suitably pensive expression, and a clenched fist that might arguably express brooding over regrets.

Maybe I haven't quite grasped what you're going for (or maybe I have really off-the-wall interpretations of pets' facial expressions and body language), but I don't feel that Nightmare matches the attitude you described at all... To me, Nightmare pets invariably exude a kind of manic energy; most often gleeful insanity, but even the more sober ones look more irritable than anything.

I was actually going to recommend storm! Their attitudes and expressions really fit what you're looking for, imo. These are just a few, but I'm limiting myself because I could suggest a ton more aha.

The first two kind of are covering their face from the "regret" is what I thought, but they still have a positive outlook and are looking up. Kind of cheesy, but I thought they fit with the vibe you're going for.

I like the Angel Neela that suggested, too. But out of the two you posted, I'm biased so...Angel Darkonite xD

Now that you bring it up, nightmare pets maybe not be represent as accurately as the other colours you have mentioned, so I'll be giving more thought to storm and glacier pets. Thank you! I'm going to have a proper look at all the storm pets now. The storm montre, especially looks gorgeous. I would love to hear more of your suggestions for any storm babies that you will think be able to fit into the character I have in mind. :D :D
