I'm a little confused on the 30-second limiter on these shops. Even the main shops are only a 5-second limit. Is it just to prevent lag or something? Prevent people from restocking them by the hundreds? It's kind of annoying so I'd be very happy to know the reason.
It's to prevent people from spam-buying and artificially inflating prices, supposedly. If you have enough time on your hands, it does very little.
And I agree, it's very annoying.

I thought it was to help prevent accidental double purchases, since the items are kind of expensive (especially the MC).
I think it's also a bit shorter than 30 seconds, at least it seemed like it when I was buying stuff the other day. Maybe more like 10-15 seconds but the error text hasn't been updated.
Wouldn't it deflate prices in User Shops though? More Product + Less Demand = Deflated Prices, right? Unless they're just pricing them super high and waiting for the off-season I guess.
I guess that might make sense, but you'd think the 5-second timer they use for Main Shops would work just fine, wouldn't it?
I agree it could probably be a bit shorter. I think it's been brought up in suggestions before or something, but I don't remember what the response was.
I knew I had seems Amber saying something about it recently:
And yes, people do get away with charging outrageous prices off-season, you could have seen it in the item hover. By now this number in the item hover will have changed though.
yeah it's definitely about ten seconds in pretty much all special shops (with maybe a couple exceptions? can't remember off the top of my head). the text just says 30 because... idk it used to be 30 and it'd be too much of a hassle to change i guess? i'm not a programmer idk how that stuff works.
