I used to be a member of Daily Item back in the day, but it's been a couple of years since I've seen any update, so I'm officially calling it over for me there, I guess! The premise of that group was that every day there was a random item, and you had to make an avatar based around it (or, at the very least, had the item present in your avatar.)

I know there also used to be that one group that even had their own off-site place where people posted their fancy avatars? I don't remember the name though.

Anyways, I'm big into having a group that's HA-focused, and it was one of the things that used to keep me very active on subeta--these day's I'm not so much, so I'd love to find out of some kind of group that still does this?

Colovaria has very frequent HA contests and is run by the lovely (I hope it's ok to post this here! c: I can remove it if not)

Finally, it's also always good to check the Avatar Contests & Games forum although it can be hard to sift through the games to find the contests XD
