4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Sleep and/or eat probably. Yeah.
5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? I always try to have low expectations myself, so I can't be disappointed, but I think having high expectations makes life more interesting.

9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? I sing or play with my hair;

Place how/where you spend your term break: Most breaks are spent back in my family’s homeland of Japan. It’s lovely to see distant relatives and my grandparents.
1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break? My family lives on a large lake (about the size of the one here at Hogwarts). Swimming is my second favorite pastime after drawing, though our property is great for both. 2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? I rarely spend money on myself. I did however buy small gifts for my friends, as is the Japanese tradition when you travel. 3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. 4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Swimming in the lake, if it’s not too cold. I feel most free in the water. Though if the lake is frozen over, I wouldn't mind doodling under some blankets. 5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? Neither, it’s best to prepare for either and be surprised when things turn out for the best in the end. 6. You’re walking down the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? As a second-year I don’t have access to Hogsmeade. However if I would try to find the owner immediately! 7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? Either would be fine. I can barely express myself at all when it comes to social interactions and I almost always tell the truth. Honesty is the best policy after all! 8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? Large groups always make me feel uncomfortable. I’m not really that social, but I’m trying to be better with it. It’s my goal for this semester. 9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? Thoughts are like ripples on water’s surface; they can start small but get loud and dangerous. 10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? Hahaha… I’m not very brave (or I’m sure I’d be in Gryffindor). Though I do usually pull myself together if it’s for friends or family.

Name: Lenore Addlebourne of Slytherin House Age: 17 Place how/where you spent your term break: In London, socializing and shopping in the best wizarding boutiques. It was really like a two-sided vacation - Part traditional high society expectations and part true freedom. If I'm honest with myself, I love both.
2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? New clothes, naturally. And some new jewelry and books and quills and tea cups and paintings and... Sorry, this is meant to be a short answer. Why would you include this question if you want short answers?
3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Never mix a sleeping draught and a fanged frisbee. Don't ask why. Just don't do it.
4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? The same things that I do with the other 24, I suppose. If it was there every day wouldn't we be accustomed to it? Maybe we could test the theory and start thinking of days as being 23 hours long and set aside the 24th as something 'extra' special?
5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? That depends. I always have high expectations of myself. Expectations of others are discovered and changed over time. As for places or experiences, why have any expectations at all? They only blind us to what we might otherwise find. Honestly, I would never have discovered my favorite green-black ink if I’d turned my nose up at the dingy windows of Bat Spleens and Other Things.
6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? It's only 40 galleons. I'd just leave it where it is, likely wondering about the possibilities of the person who left it.
7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? ink blot
8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? The muggle world. I certainly don't belong there. Especially without my wand. Or in a place without coffee. Especially without my wand. Or in a small town with no fashion sense... without my wand! Maybe I should change this answer to 'anywhere without my wand?'
9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? Oh, those thoughts aren't for sale.
10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? I never thought trying new things took courage until I saw others struggling with leaving the safety of what they knew. Is new frightening?

questionnaire
What did you enjoy doing most on term break? Getting to know people and myself a little better. And that picnic on the beach.
Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? I bought a fresh sketchbook for the trip, does that count?
If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Never stop trying to learn something new.
If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Draw probably.
What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? Low, that way you aren’t ever disappointed.
You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? Look around to see if there is anyone crying about it, if not then keep it probably.
Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? Um, I feel like I can’t express myself accurately ever already so… That one.
In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? In a church, or back in primary school.
What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? What the next thing I’m going to try turning into really looks like. Because things look different in our heads than they are shaped in real life. If that makes sense… Probably not.
Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? Most recently that would have to be my girlfriend, Sauvage.

1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break? Not much, really. I prefer being at Hogwarts, and away from my family. I spent most of my time studying for next term, or tending my plants in the old greenhouse on the manor grounds. Plants make better company than my sister or father.
2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? Yes, I bought a young albino python from a muggle pet shop over the summer. It's lonely being me; I thought I could use a friend. Her name is Princess.
3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Mind your own bloody business. Everyone cares too much about what everyone else is up to. They forget about their own lives, and what really matters.
4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? I would work on my flying. I don't really give my quidditch practice enough attention. I'll get kicked off the slytherin team at this rate.
5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? Having low expectations means you were right all along, or you will be pleasantly surprised. But then, I'm a pessimist so don't ask me.
6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? it depends. If someone saw me snatch it, I would hand it over to the keeper of the nearest shop. If not... Well, I always love shopping for new jewelry.
7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? I already live the first option every day. Being a legilimens, I always know the truth of others' thoughts and often struggle with ways to pretend that I don't really know what's in their heart. ...Which leads to more than a few misunderstandings.
8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? Stupid pure-blood garden parties and balls. I don't like being around crowds, and I'm something of a black (white?) sheep among my family's acquaintances. I usually find a quiet corner and sulk.
9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? How much I hate being alone.
10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? The only thing that motivates me is how much I don't want to be like the rest of my family, and how badly I want to get away from them and the life they have planned for me. I will do anything to avoid that.

I mean to be fair, Hogsmeade is pretty big. I guess I could look around and see if anyone looks like they lost something, then I would keep it. 7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? I would die if I could never express myself. I'll take the truth, I guess. 8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? I mean I feel pretty out of place at Hogwarts to be honest. Not being able to use technology for such a long time is pretty awful. Get out of the dark ages, wizards! Come on! 9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? How best to grow my business while also helping where I can. 10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? The fact that I love trying new things. I try to make myself do one new thing a day! Even if it fails, I don't have to do it again.

Outfit Not Found
Name: Callista Zabini, Slytherin House
Age: 16
Place how/where you spend your term break: Tokyo, San Francisco, London, Rome, Tuscany
1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break?
I don't know!!!!
My sister Fiammetta took us (myself and Juliana Malfoy) to Tokyo and to San Francisco to shop, and Liane and I went to a tea party in San Francisco for the anniversary of their Angelic Pretty shop branch where we had lots of fun, even though most of the people there were muggles. We also went to a lot of concerts. The picture I am sending in with my survey was taken there.
We also stopped by Ilvermorny so Liane could visit someone she'd been collaborating with on some Arithmancy research. It was so weird to be there again without everyone else from here, or with Tiferet and the other Alexandrians (except for Niamh because she goes here now).
But my favourite part of the trip might have been when we went to Rome and met up with Blaise who took us up to Tuscany, where the main branch of our family still lives. The countryside is lovely, the apple tree that Lady Dracaena planted after the Great War is still there, and Liane chased Rufio and Mercutio all over the place on her broom, because she goes mad if you put a Snitch in front of her. As everyone knows who's ever watched Durmstrang's Quidditch team.
2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it?
I bought a lot of things. Mostly clothes. But there was a raffle at the tea party and I WON a purse, which was pretty exciting.
3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be?
We need to learn and understand technology. Don't be afraid of muggles because they used to want to burn us at the stake. But maybe we should be more concerned about nuclear weapons and global warming, because if they destroy the whole planet, I don't know how we can possibly survive. The internet is AMAZING and I don't understand why more of us don't choose to learn about it. Yoga is nice, but I wish we spent more time in Muggle Studies talking about things that have the potential to impact everyone--either for the better, like the Internet, or for the worse, like nuclear warfare and global warming.
4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it?
Keep caught up on my studies because there is no way we are all going to do well in our lessons if we can't even go to the library after 9:30. If it was after 9:30, I'd probably spend it sewing.
5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations?
Why is this even a question? Sure, if you have low expectations, you don't get disappointed a lot, but only because you don't care about anything.
6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it?
That depends on whether or not there's a way to find out who the pouch belonged to and get it back to them. Being honest is not only morally right but will win you more friends, trust and influence as your life goes on. But if there's no identifying information, magical or otherwise, that's 40 galleons I didn't have yesterday.
7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth?
If you are cursed so that you can't lie, but you don't want people to know what you're thinking or doing, you can always choose not to say anything, or to change the subject of the conversation, or to tell the truth judiciously.
If you are cursed so that nobody can understand what you say, there is no way around that except to break the curse.
8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in?
I am pretty sure I wouldn't know what to do with myself at the South Pole. Although penguins are cute.
9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone?
How my family is doing, or how Liane is doing, or what people I see when we're not at school are up to.
10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things?
My older sister Fiammetta. She's fearless. There's a story she tells about how she had to argue with the Hat not to put her in Gryffindor because nothing much scares her. She just gets determined and angry instead.

1. What did you enjoy doing most on term break?
I was able to yield elven energy, finally!
Only basic concepts yet after all those years of trial and error, it was exciting nevertheless!
2. Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? One weekend, I went with my family to an Arabien Jinn Wedding and the next day, we visited the soukh there. The vendors offered precious object as described in A Thousand and One Nights yet I was very intrigued with their natural vegetable dyes. After some bargaining, I was able to buy a box with almost all the colors and now I am able to color my hair fitting to each outfit!
3. If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be?
Magic is great yet can´t produce the happines and contentement of your pet.
Always put your pet first and don´t stop looking out for creatures in need and help them,
by magic or with your own hands.
4. If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? Reading another book and petting my cat in the meantime.
5. What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? High ones, naturally. At least for myself. It fosters inner growth and awakes my surroundings.
6. You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? Bring it to the next cat shelter for helping the kitties in need.
7. Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? To say the truth because it´s no challenge for me. They say only children and fools say the truth all the time yet I feel uneasy doing otherwise. Even when the truth is hard to assimilate, it’s often not what you say but how you say it. Empathy and compassion should always go hand in hand with the truth.
8. In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? Surrounded by people completely drunk. I hate to loose control and feel uncomfortable when others do so.
9. What's a common thing that you think about when you're alone? Going on a world cruise. I would love to see all kind of cultures, cities, beaches, mountains, the rainforest. Everybody should be a globetrotter one time in their life.
10. Who or what gives you the courage to try new things? My cat Frida. Her trust in me that I am the bearer of good things. Her comfort when I feel down. Her purr which attends me falling asleep. Her frolicking in my dreams. Me waking up looking into her star-like eyes.

Place how/where you spend your term break: camping at Strathclyde LochWhat did you enjoy doing most on term break? Camping alone with Duncan by the river. Teaching her some new tricks and really bonding. My uncles stopped by once a day to make sure everything was okay and that I had food, but they got that I really needed to time to myself, too.
Did you buy something new for yourself while not at school? If yes, what was it? Allen bought me a fishing pole that he charmed to make the hook more enticing to fish.
If you could give one piece of advice to the wizarding world, what would it be? Don’t let the muggles get you down?
If there was an extra hour every day, what would you do with it? SLEEP. Or maybe create a fourth meal? Breakfast, lunch, dinner...supper?
What's better, having high expectations or having low expectations? Not sure. I try to have high expectations and hope for the best, but I think life experience have molded me into always expecting the worst, if I’m being honest. And I guess that’s okay, too. It’s makes the good stuff even better when that happens.
You’re walking down the the streets of Hogsmeade and find a pouch with 40 galleons inside. What do you do with it? Stock up on a bunch of candy to share in the Hufflepuff Common Room!
Would you rather never be able to express yourself accurately or always have to say the truth? I kinda already say what comes to my mind. And it doesn’t always work out the best, but...I think people know I’m being genuine in that way which to me is way better than not being able to properly express yourself. Did that answer the question? The second one, then.
In what situation or place would you feel the most out of place in? Ravenclaw Common Room; not that I have anything against Ravenclaws - my best friend is one! But….they’re kind of exhausting sometimes. Like, they make me feel confused all the time and most of them just think in a really different way than how my mind works.
