neither my brother nor i ever baked anything before in our lives and my mum isn't here so we pretty much went in blind n __ n they came out pretty alright tho!!

they were kinda dry and brittle so if we ever try again we'll add more butter :> and also uhhhh there were supposed to be 16 but we ended up making 15 because idk how measuring anything works lmao
process
i def want to learn how to bake proper eventually q v q i'd love to make cupcakes and cakes someday~
Maybe just bake them a minute less next time, that may help. I haven’t baked in a long time.
I bake a lot and these are awesome. PASS ME THE PLATE. TY MATE.
these look awesome! Well done!! I remember making cookies for the first time and it just morphed into one massive cookie and took the shape of the baking tray XD! What Kevin said, take the cookies out sooner than instructed cause technically they're still baking on the hot tray even when they're out the oven.

Ouuu, they look good though!
I'd add in a little more milk if they're too dry, honestly. You might get a more oily cookie with more butter. The recipe that Mom and I use sometimes requires two to three times more milk than what the recipe requires, depending on the weather.

thanks guys!! i didn't add milk bc we followed the instructions at the back of the box really accurately and they just said to add butter to the powder they gave you lmao, but if we ever do them again i'll add a bit to make them softer! :> we left them in the oven at 180° for 10 minutes even if the instructions said 7-9 minutes because they didn't look ready, but we def cooked them too long orz
thank you! c:
tHANK but also rip we ate them all |'DD never had hot cookies before and man they're so much better than cold ones wtf
I'd give you the recipe that my Mom and I use that never fails to give good cookies to try but it's all American measurements. Plus, if my conversion is right, the oven was too hot. Over here, most cookie recipes are done at 177C/350F. 180C is... 356F, I think? Am I converting that right?
Just some pointers. -v-b <3

ahhh for now i'd rather wait for my mum to come back before we try baking anything more complicated than 'open the box and mix together what you find' lmao but feel free to send me the recipe if you want! i don't mind converting measurements |D haha the actual instructions said to cook at 180° ;; i reckon the temperature was fine we just left it in there too long
