Hi!! I'm new here! I absolutely love the avatar systems and everyone's characters look sooo amazing! I was just wondering, do good quality/rare items cycle into the SP shop, are are they usually the same selection of basic items? Is the best place to get good clothes the CSC shop? :O Any advice would be really helpful! :)

As for your question, a lot depends on your taste.

In sP shops you will find good, basic clothing. The Clothing Rack, for example, has over 2000 clothing items, samples below, most available in 5-10 different colors.

Icy goods has coats, sweaters, hats, mittens, etc. Sole Train - shoes, socks, stockings etc. and other sP shops have items similar in style to the clothing rack.

Subeautique (also an sP shop, but instead of 500-5000 sP, they range from 150,000 to 300,000 + an invitation) has all unique items, no recolors. You can see all the Subeatique lines at this offsite link.

The cash shop also has mostly unique items without color options. SubetaLodge also has previews.

The cash shop has clothing other than the delish (boutique) lines, but that gives a general "look" all in one place.

Finally, we have event shops, which generally sell themed or seasonal clothing for special currencies type you can earn during events. The Steamwork Menegerie has steampunk type of clothing. Esther's Vesnali shop is spring and florals. Louis's is valentine's, pink and frilly stuff.

Also if you have wizard tokens in your bank you can go to quite a few vending machines and try your luck there. Sometimes you can vend clothes, not the most expensive but I find it's a fun way to pick up a few simple pieces from time to time.

Dragon's Hoard is a good place. Ocean Depth's as well once you get access to Omen Island via the Uncharted Map pieces. c:

You no longer have to be a zombie or zombie-skin to buy from NPC Skitters.

the best way to find items imo is to uncheck the 'only show items you own' option in the wardrobe (and change the item type filter to non-CWs) and just browse through the items, find things you like, then search for them in user shops. some of them might be expensive or unavailable, but there's sure to be plenty within your budget. if you're unsure where an item comes from, you can always search for it on subetalodge to get more information.
