I just want to get that Rare Toy achievement, but I don't think I've ever had my pets drop below the full 10 Happiness. I know minions and being in the resort keep your pets happy, but are there other factors that keep the happiness up like being in the training center, having full hunger, or being the active pet/leashed? And this is a blasphemous question I know, but are there any things that make a pet unhappy?

I don't think there is really any items or anything that will intentionally make your pet unhappy. If you want the achievement, just take one of your pets and make sure they're not in the resort and remove any minion they may have, and their happiness will go down naturally over time (it could take a couple hours or so). You can give the minion back and put them back in the resort or whatever after you've played with the toy. :)

If you have the space you can try adopting a pet from the adoption agency.

There is one item that I know of that will make your pet unhappy, . It also will drop hunger and health. Not the pet using it though. It randomly hits one of your other pets.

However, it's a pricey battle weapon and your pet has to be tier 6 or above to use it.
