WELCOME BACK MY FELLOW HUFFLEPUFFS!!

I am Gwenyfar (ibook) one of your prefects for this term of school. Term will be starting on June 16th - are you all excited?! I have decided to host a party for my fellow housemates for this next week. It will run into the start of the term but that is okay - we can party as much as we want (we know how to get the food).

For 7 days I will have challenges, trivia, prizes, and just lots of fun - all found right here in our common room. You are welcome to participate as you feel like it - nothing is mandatory. Each day there will be something new and fun for you to do which will hopefully bring us closer together as a group. I will also be telling you of our biggest in-house event that will be going on this term.

I will have posted each day these things

• a trivia question for you to answer (smail me the answer and receive a prize)
• an activity for you to do - to get to know each other and have fun
• treats that you can take home with you (post what you want from the days treats)

Feel free to talk to each other as well. We want to get to know you (both the character and person). You can rp or just talk as yourself.

Please if you know someone who hasn’t already joined up the hufflepuff forum group, here, let me know and I will invite them.

Hi I'm Mewy. This is my first semester and I'm excited to start! Fun fact about me: I am a DM for 2 campaigns... fun fact about Toru: They are terrified of Cats. They also are part merperson and love talking with their "cousins" in the lake.

Hey hey everyone! I am also one of your Hufflepuff Prefects. Although I'm new to the position, please feel comfortable to come to me with questions and send anyone who may be interested in joining my way.

Fun fact about me: I'm getting ready to move from the States to China in roughly 2 months and I am crazy excited. Fun fact about Sauvage: For the first time in her adolescent life, she is pretty sure she is in love. And kinda freaking out. Fun fact about Jona: He turns 13 years old in 12 days and already misses being a kid.

How old is Loki? Also, you might have to teach Sauvage some baking. She is great at potions but totally sucks in the kitchen.

Millie excitedly walked into the common room with Cleo trotting after her. She looked around the room and saw Sauvage and Jona (). "Hey guys. How was your break? Do anything fun?"

She looked at Sauvage and could feel something different. She whispered, "what's his name? We'll have to sit in a corner with some hot cocoa chat later."

Her turn to introduce herself. "I'm Millie. I'll be 16 next month and finishing year 5 and taking my OWLS at the end of the term. This is my kitty, Cleo. I also have a snowy owl named Ibid. And, my boyfriend is halfway finished his final term at Durmstang and will be moving to London when he finishes."

She was started to feel awkward with all the attention. She didn't want to admit it but her anxiety had been super bad lately. She wanted to rip her hair out at the thought of her upcoming OWLS.

that is a tough phobia to have at Hogwarts with all the pet cats, not to mention Mrs Norris.

Loki will be four on the 26th and we will celebrate with carrot cake. Feel free to join Nicola at the oven any time. Must be willing to wear flour. Hope you have some fun in China.

Gwenyfar (known mainly as Gwen) - She loves being prefect and is happy to have some help this year. It is her OWLs year and she knows she will be busy.

Rachel (lyn) - I am going to be 32 at the end of the month. lol.

I know... I am so stoked to play this... I figured it was an excellent fear from the decendent from a Fishman. :3c

I play in one friends campaign, I DM my own D&D campaign and I'm kinda in charge of a HP D&D-ish campaign here... like I make a lot of my DM-decisions via dice ... the rest of it is done via rpg. :D

“Hi Gwen! I did! Our families went on holiday to Iceland. It was really fun. We went to a giant hot spring and explored Viking settlements.”

She picked at the skin around her fingers nails. “My plan? Don’t think about it. Otherwise I start pulling at my hair or picking at my finger nails. It’s an anxiety thing”.

I love that image about being nice. So true. :) I'm very busy lately so I don't know how much I can participate this term but... I'm Luck and my character is just me but aged down to fit the school. I love being a hufflepuff so much... As a child I loved slytherin but I've come to realize that I am nothing like slytherin and I think being a hufflepuff really fits me.

I think I've been in this group for like 2 years now. :D But I have been into HP for 15 years.

For my fun fact... my character has a pet lizard but in real life I only have cats. I love lizards though. :P

“Thank you. Actually, my mum is a muggle and runs her own bakery in London. I bake all the time here”. She gave a warm smile and started to eat the cookie.

“Oh. Here’s another fun fact about me. My patronus changed after a terrible case of dragon pox. I became really depressed because I came down with it the second day of the Triwizard Tournament last year. It used to be a lynx, but now it’s a miniature schnauzer. What’s even more interesting is that Emmett’s was also a lynx and now is a miniature schnauzer. I guess it’s because our happiest memories involve each other.”

"Citrouille," Sauvage warned in a motherly voice. "Be genteel." Citrouille meowed indignantly and walked away from the group to make a point. It was the first time Sauvage brought him to school, too, so he had some wandering to do.

"Oh, Millie!" Sauvage cried out dramatically. Then she whispered, "I am positive zat you could guess. Eet is ze same boy it 'as always been." She rolled her eyes, never really one for the dramatic teenage flare, and heaved a defeated sigh; she said his name as the air left her lungs: "It is Fade. From Ravenclaw?"

Toru had been quietly curled up in the corner of the Hufflepuff Common Room quietly sketching in a small tanned notebook. It was impossible to tell due to their freckles and birthmarks, but a set of graphite colored fingerprints and smudges dotted their left cheek when they had stopped briefly in thought. They had been so focused on the delicate sketch in their book that it took a minute for them to even realize there were others in the Common Room. The second-year had made it through their entire first year without barely speaking to anyone unless spoken too and even then it was a miracle if a response was received that you could understand. This year though, they had promised their family that they would try to socialize a bit more.

Aurora burst into the common room, followed by a sporadic sprinkling of leaves and twigs - remnants of her adventurous detour before arrival. Although keen to begin her third year at Hogwarts, Aurora had found it impossible to ignore building whispers of a sighting of unidentified magical creatures, just beyond the castle grounds.

She aimed for subtlety in taking a position amongst the gathering students. If she was to investigate these rumours further, finding herself a companion would be paramount - not to mention a nice change, as she found acquaintances of the human variety particularly challenging. Mindful of her slightly dishevelled appearance and somewhat abrupt late entrance, she put on her friendliest face and hoped one of her peers would be the first to break the silence.

He said, a little startled that he hadn't even seen the person when he sat down. "Heya...I'm Jona." He offered the other person a warm smile; the prospect of another friend made him happy, especially since this student looked to be close to his own age. He looked up abruptly from the the introduction though, as someone else burst into the common room. He didn't really say anything, but their eyes did meet and he couldn't help but laugh at the situation and he admired the mess she had made upon her entrance. She looked fun. He waved good-naturedly.

Millie's face lit up at the mention of Fade. "Does he like you? He'd be crazy not to. You have to tell me everything. When you're ready, of course." she winked at her friend, looking forward to the conversation.

"Emmett is finishing his final year at Durmstrang and he'll be moving to London after. He'll be coming for more visits, working pending of course. He was offered a position at Gringotts as an in bank curse breaker. They want all new curse breakers to be trained in the bank before being sent away."

She noticed more people entered the common room and gave them a warm smile. She had missed the common room the most while away on holiday. It always smelled like a garden after a rain shower with a hint of vanilla.

DAY ONE ACTIVITIES ARE UP

She groaned happily and sank further into his lap; soon she was fast asleep and snoring. "Where are you from?" Lately, all she wanted to do was talk about him, but it was her first ever relationship and she wasn't she how to go about doing so. What was important to keep between just her and Fade? And what was okay to share with her friends? She would have to confirm this with Fade later. "I am not sure what all 'e would be comfortable wiv me saying, buuuuuut... we did go on our first date just before ze break started. And, during ze break, 'e came to my 'ouse en France for a few weeks. And, well...it was very nice." She ended it simply, afraid of getting carried away and saying more than she meant to.
