Bought 20 Mage Amulets to only get two tomes. ;-; I doubt that's the worst he's done to me but yeah..Have any major failures with the Mage?
Yeah. He's a turd. The general average is supposedly about 1 in 6, but I usually end up with something more like your numbers, 1:9 or 1:10 (He also decided one day to splash me out 1:12 -.-). the last time I turned in...more than 100 - (I think i turned in something like 143), the average was much better though. When I turn in a small amount of amulets, my rule of thumb is if I get a Tome on the first or second amulet, I just take it and walk away from him. It is probably just my crap luck, but when he does that to me, I usually end up with the crappier end of the averages. Either way, good luck with him in the future!
Do you have a rare item that just won't sell? Are you going through the high levels of Item Hunt? Or maybe you just HATE that blue bunny? Then you should join IHH helpers and IHH bargain in the forum groups!

I feel your pain... I've just given him 25 amulets, only to get ONE tome (on the 21st try). If that is not a major failure, I don't know what is, lol
Yes he can be such a jerk sometimes. I have tossed him 30 amulets (in total) over the course of a week once and got nothing but shards. It happens sadly.
