sorry for the dumb question but i figure better safe than sorry. am i good to log in from mobile data/wifi at someone else's house (who doesn't play subeta at all), or am i only allowed to connect from one IP address period?

I connect from multiple IP addresses and multiple devices. Just, not all at the same time, obviously. I have never had a problem but if you are really concerned I would suggest filing a ticket.

For the record, if you do file a ticket, they'll just tell you it's not necessary (been there, done that) lol

You only need to let staff know if you've got multiple people playing from the same connection, but you can log in from wherever. It's fine :)
