i really dont know how to start out forum threads but what scootle colors are you guys the most exited for??? also feel free to share your speculations about what future colors will look like!! (i'll edit this soon to add in some drawings of my predictions!)

I'm personally curious about what the Hydrus Scootle will look like since they're already kinda sea slugs, and the Nostalgic because I'm struggling to think of a cute slug/snail toy that it could be based on

I personally hope for cute colors like Chibi to look perfect for my Scootle. Cute just matches its name the most.

It would be amazing if the nostalgic scootle was a Keypers! We've already sort of got the holy trinity of that style of 80s toy lines-- Popples, Fairy Tails, original My Little Ponies-- so it would be great if we could round that off. Shhhhh I know there are other 80s lines I could have included but they're not as closely associated with the above.

As much as I'd love to see a Storm Scootle, I'm hopeful that the spectrum/blacklight versions will have a rainbow slime trail behind it.

Scootle Bonding
You actually have to spend a few consecutive days bonding with the Scootle until you're able to create one yourself! They can be found at the Nature Hike. You'll look through the different areas of the Hike by clicking 'Next' to find a small icon of the Scootle (the yellow snail with a blue shell). When you find it, you'll click on it and start to bond with it. You'll do this for 3 consecutive days. On the fourth day, you'll be able to create a Scootle of your own! And then if you ever want to create another one in the future, you won't need to redo that bonding experience. You simply have to find it on the Nature Hike again and create another one that way.
As for clicking on the Scootle in the hike while you're bonding with it, I remember some users saying it had gotten scared away if they clicked on it too often on the same day? So only clicking on it once should do the trick. There were a couple days where I clicked twice and then the icon disappeared on the map, but it still only took me that allotted time to actually bond with it. Just something to keep in mind though!
Of course, if you want to turn one of your existing pets into a Scootle, you can always use an elixir. The Scootle elixirs were released just a couple days ago. Keep in mind, since the item is so new, they'll be a bit expensive right now. Give it some time and I imagine their price will deflate.

But that's right, you clicked on the correct one! (You can tell because of the popup you received). It's the one with the arrow pointing to "or this one?" So on Wednesday and Thursday, you'll go back to the Nature Hike and find it again. You should be able to create a Scootle on Friday! It'll most likely appear on a new section of the hike next time.

You won't be able to see this on the Hike yourself since you've already found it, but this is what the icon looks like for me! It'll look a little different each day, depending where it is:
[edit] Oh I forgot! What I mean by "bond" is like...you'll start to form a relationship with it, I suppose? It'll become curious of you and start to like you a little bit more with each passing day!
Last Day
When you click on the Scootle on Friday, this is the popup you should receive!
When you click on the hyperlink "adopt it into your family?" you'll be able to name it and create it!

Oh wait! You do need to visit everyday! So today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. Then on Friday, you'll be able to create it. I'm not sure if you'll lose progress if you don't visit everyday or if you'll pick up from where you left if you miss a day. But if you can, definitely visit everyday!

I'm hoping that Nostalgic will be a doll house inspired design. The Scootle is probably one of the only pets that could worth with that.
However...
Ugh. I am so conflicted because this would be awesome too. ;o; I really want my doll house Scootle, but I'm fully expecting a Keyper design now. It'd work so well!
I'll end up doing an overlay regardless. :P
