I found a post from 2009 that said Ocean Depths no longer vends riptide... did it ever come back?

I think it is supposed to still be one of the possible prizes, but it's extremely rare.

Hey ! I think that my experience might be useful to you, since I only vend at Ocean Depths.

It took me ~13k vends to get my first Riptide (& that was in the last year or two.) Since then, I've vended to and past the 50k vending achievement and have not received another one. They're rare and all, but not gone.

Back in 2016 I vended two of them within the span of 750 tokens over the course of a week. It's really all a matter of luck now a days, so keep at it!

I guess I'm just cursed because I have vended there daily since they were released and never got one. :c

Anyone knows the chances of vending a Riptide? Is vending worth it? I usually do my Wizard quests and sell the tokens I get, should I use them to vend? Sorry I'm still a n00b

Not really sure the percentage... I would have to say it's less than a 5% chance? I know they tweaked the odds years and years ago because at one point vending one was common, then again vending had no limits at one point.

If you want to try for one I say go for it, at the very least you could sell the vended items or frag them, it's what I usually do.

hijack away, that's a good question...I'd say pretty low, like less than 1% at this point considering some of the anecdotal evidence from some other people on the board. That's 1% of days for 500 vends a day I'd say....

About a year ago I vended two within the same vending session.

I have 33,000 vends and I haven't gotten one yet XD So I'd say less than a 1% chance is correct

I just frag the items vended. Vending does deplete your tokens quickly n.n
