Quick question. I just noticed the username I have been hoping to claim is available. I have a slot in the first batch of an item awaiting approval- what happens if I change my UN before it gets approved and I receive my copy? I have been reading everything I can find to try to find the answer but no luck so far! Hopefully it'll be approved soon and it won't be an issue! :D Any insight would be greatly appreciated though. Thanks!!

Fair warning, I don't have any experience with slotting CWs. However, I doubt a username change will cause any issues. Everyone has a User ID, which you can see under Personal -> Dashboard. The system for CWs most likely uses this to keep track of who has a slot. You keep the same User ID, so a name change shouldn't make a difference.

I would go ahead with the name change. IF changing your username does mess up your CW slot, you can file a ticket to get that resolved. Missing out on your desired username won't be so easy to fix.

That was my initial thought as well. (That it was tied to the user ID which never changes.)

It should not cause any problems, as the data is stored using user id numbers. But be sure to let the CW releaser know just so no one is confused :)
