I can't help myself. I've adopted two of the worst names ever - 'petty pet pet' and a literal keysmash - cause I just feel so bad for them. I'm saving for the CSC to rename them, cause I couldn't help but feel like no one would ever adopt them if I didn't. I watched 'petty pet pet' sit in the pound for a couple weeks before I adopted him, and I've been saving for the CSC gift cards ever since... and of course, today, I had to go and spot Ghfhfjfhgghhfghhvggfsfhjk... and I just knew I couldn't leave her there.

I know, I'm a sap. Anyone else do stuff like this or am I a nut?

Mmm I see it happen all the time, some people turn a bad name into a great pet though. In the end it always depends on the person and how they feel about the pet. c: At least with Subeta if you like the pet enough you can change it's name when you get the chance so there's always hope. ^-^

Sometimes I do. I almost impulse adopted a keyboard-smash-named pet the other day. And I've adopted pets to change their name or color before too, when I was feeling generous and more loaded than I am now.

Thankfully on Subeta, these pets don't have to be resigned to their fate forever. :)

I do feel bad for ones with crummy names. At least there are kind souls like the people in this thread who give these pets a second chance!

Yes I do really feel bad...That's why I adopted 6 pets. A Tutani, an Endeavor, a Kerubi, Experiment , Experiment and lastly a Blob. I still go there everyday..

I feel terrible! Been in the site for 3 days only and I already keep checking to see if someone snagged them. I AM name picky, tho D: That's a nice thing you're doing, renaming them =)

I just bought something from your shop so you could get a little bit closer to saving for that CSC (it was on my wishlist anyway). Good luck =) I'm a huge sap too, one of those people who feels bad for toys that get knocked over in the aisles in the store. On one hand I know perfectly well they're inanimate objects and don't have feelings, but on the other I don't feel right myself unless I can put them back with their "friends". Pretty much accepted the fact my brain's broken XD

I'm usually picky about names, but every now and then I make an exception. I adopted a pet named Foods because 1) hey, why not and 2) Subeta does have a lot of yummy-looking food items he can collect.

I feel bad too XD I have a habit of adopting pets and changing their color/species if I think it would fit their name better before pounding them to hopefully give them a better chance.

No, I don't anymore. (But I did used too when I first started here).

I tend to adopt some of the lower ID or better named pets to zap and train them. I get them to around to an even 100 in their stats and put them back in. :)

Currently working on Ras, Ragu and Ouna. :D

I've adopted so many pets to zapp for people looking for a cool experiment pet, or to nab names from inactive accounts to make them more attractive to potential adopters. Lately I've decided to concentrate on fixing my own pets, since all the profile codes I've purchased from people got broken from the site updates recently. :(

I think perhaps more users would adopt if it were less expensive/easier to change the names of abandoned pets. I feel sorry for them too, especially the ones that have been zapped to ash and pudding AND have a keyboard smash name. LOL

I always feel so bad when I see really adorable pets in the pound, but it also makes it easier for new users to get some really awesome pets without spending too much. I know I used to check the pound a lot when I started on Subeta (and I managed to get some really adorable pets)!

sometimes... but not so much anymore. i mean... look at the pound, hardly one in. it's quite boring to 'surf' there. (reference to other site i was once on, don't mind that)

whenever i have room i take pets from pound, zapp and hopefully send them back way prettier then they've been before (sometimes names arn't a prob if they are pretty) so: i DO like pets being in pound. XD where else should i find my zapping-fodder? also it's fortunate that strange names don't have to stay eternally. i realy realy like that option. ^^ no keysmasch/numbers-on-it names left after adopted onto this acc.
