...legs for the first time this season! I looked down at them in the bathroom and one word came to mind. Sasquatch, lmao. Some people are all like 'Eeeeew, you don't shave them all winter??' and I'm like 'Umm, why the f-word would I? They're covered all the time.' But now it's finally warm enough for SKIRTS AND DRESSES <3 so I had to shave the damn things. Now they're all silky and smooth and I only bled in two teeny tiny spots, which is damn good for my clumsy ass. I'm going to wear a cute new dress to work tomorrow! My coworkers are going to be all 'Dude, why the f-word you dressed up, yo?' and I'm gonna be like 'Cuz I can, dumbass, cuz I can' and I'll be happy all day because YAY DRESS TIME!!
Good motivation.
I've been able to instill better brushing habits now that I have unflavoured toothpaste. That alone will allow for consistency, I HATE mint or any flavor. My mouth tastes like school glue after ten minutes with any other kind. The downside is it cost me ten dollars and is shipped from the UK.
Keeping my teeth until I'm old and gray motivates me.
I still shave my legs in winter, not as frequently but I still shave them. I just don’t like the feeling of hair on my legs so I tend to shave when I get sick of feeling the hair on my legs. That said, I’m Asian and can usually get away with shaving every couple weeks even while wearing shorts during summer. I’ve legitimately gone without shaving for a couple weeks and people couldn’t really tell unless they were examining my legs up close. The hair on my legs isn’t a lot in the first place, and tends to grow fine and sparse though I still shave it. I used to do that in high school and still do just because I don’t have a ton of hair on my legs in the first place. My hair shaving is pretty much just the front from knee to ankle as I don’t have hair that grows anywhere else on my legs, makes shaving pretty quick.
I still shave my legs in winter, but I usually only need to once every couple weeks. I have very few hairs on my legs, and its only ever noticeable if someone is looking right up close at my legs. And even when I shave, its so quick because there's so little there. I'm lucky I guess?
I also will still shave my legs in winter, but moreso because if I let it get too wild it can get a bit comfortable. Generally though, it is once in a blue moon when it's cold out because I live in pants during winter haha! I am very excited to start busting out my dresses and shorts again now that it's finally starting to feel like spring where I am, thank god.
Loooool. I've been shaving mine, but only to the knee. But today, I shaved above the knee. -gasp!- Only because I'm wearing a dress tomorrow, although I would very much prefer to wear my jeans...
I know that feel. Admittedly, I don't have quite as much as some others, but it's still quite noticeable and I do it every 3-4 days when I start up again in the Spring.
I'm blessed to have a husband that doesn't seem to care much during the winter (in his words, "I dunno. I have selective blindness when it comes to that." I don't know to believe him or he's saying it to be nice to me. XD), but the temps here are perfect dress climate before it reaches "Ugh, this is why people wear loincloths in the Amazon" climate.

I hate dresses/skirts and I hate the hair so I shave them year 'round.

In the winter, I will shave about once a month or whenever the hair starts to bother me. When it is warmer, I will shave every other week. The worst thing about shaving for me is that I always miss a spot or two. I can take my time and seemingly go over every inch and yet I get out of the shower and there is still a little patch of hair. Drives me nuts.
I almost never shave because I generally don't want to and I hate that people are grossed out by BODY HAIR. It's honestly pathetic. Sometimes I go out with shorts on in the summer and I get a fair number of men (and some women) who say "ew." I usually tell those people exactly what I think of them. ;) Which they deserve, even though I get people lecturing ME on how I "started something" when a random person actually just acted like I was disgusting for daring to have hair on my body.
Meh, just need to rant because people suck. There's no valid reason to express disgust at someone else's body hair.
The thing is, I mostly just shave for myself. I almost never wear dresses/shorts even during summer so I mostly just shave because I just like having smooth legs. I’ve been known to wear jeans when it’s 80/90 degrees outside, XD.
So glad I'm not the only one who grows that "fur coat" during the winter!!! It's so cold anyways-- what's the point? It's also generally harder for me to do in the winter because that's when my depression seems to worsen... But Ahhh I love the feeling of slathering lotion all over my fresh-shaved legs in the spring and summer. Sometimes I'm still a bit lazy and I'll let it grow a bit-- but oh man... I just that fresh feeling you get after a warm-transitioned-to-cool shower with smooth legs. Especially after a walk/run/bike ride!
My leg hair is meaty and long all winter. I tried to shave so i could wear shorts the other day and my razor became clogged so fast i got discouraged and stopped the only reason id shave them in the winter is if i was trying to impress a boy lol
I dont shave in the winter either. Idc if people think its gross, fight me. You rock dem dresses gurl. ;D
I shave all winter, mostly because I do gymnastics and doing the splits in fuzzy legs Just Isn't Done[sup]tm[/sup].
I also love the feeling of freshly shaved skin sliding into super soft fuzzy pants, but that might just be me.
I really don't care what gender you call me; it's all me in the end. I hope you have a wonderful day!
I hardly ever get my legs out. I'm fair skinned and my legs are so white, and fat and lumpy and bumpy. I usually wear leggings or tights in summer. I never shave in winter unless I'm going out but I do in the summer even though I hardly ever get my legs out.
I'm with you there. No leg shaving for me, regardless of the time of year. (Though I should probably stay indoors when the Sasquatch hunters are out and about...)
I am a shameless sasquatch. Shaving is annoying, I always miss a spot or two and I just don't give a rat's ass about leg hair. I'm comfortable with it. The last time I shaved was for my best friend's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid two years ago.
I can't stand dresses and skirts and I walk around in shorts in the summer in all my hairy glory without a single comment.
If I may, what is the item name of your background?
