Warning - long, and probably boring unless you care about balloons and/or history of war weapons. (Which I do, but only if said war weapons are balloons!)

I've been struggling with this for a while - I have three pets based on various types of balloons used in wars, and I'm finally trying to decide who gets what in their TCs. Suggestions for more items to add are welcome too, but mostly I need help organizing ^X^; The background behind most of my balloon pets is that when balloons "die" (pop/get destroyed/whatever) they go to the dream world as their "afterlife." A lot of them help protect the sky island of Serannian from attack. So here's my balloon bebes:

[pet not found] - based on the German zeppelins used in the zeppelin raids on Britain in WWI, along with the Hindenburg and other zeps used for travel after the war. My idea is that the pet represents all the zeppelins, and that they experience deep regret that they were used to inflict such harm on the world.

Aerostat - based on the British barrage balloons from WWII that protected London from air raids (which were made by planes by then, not zeppelins). He "died" defending London and now is much admired and honored as a hero in Serannian. He suffers from PTSD, so although he wants to help protect the city, he's afraid he might falter and fail them.

Blimpmon - okay so he's actually a Digimon, but he's an armored blimp who was brought from the Digital World to be in the first group of balloons to fight for Serannian.

Some of them have treasure, but I need help deciding how to divide it up among the three. Zeppelins gets anything with "zeppelin" in the name, Blimpmon gets anything with "blimp" in the name plus cannons and cannonballs since he's got cannons mounted on him. BUT.

Who gets items labeled as "dirigible" or "airship"? Dirigibles are generally rigid-sided balloons, but Blimpmon has rigid sides unlike most blimps! Poor Aerostat doesn't have any balloonish stuff, but he's technically neither a dirigible nor an airship because he's not steerable! Uggggh.

Okay, other weapons I'm collecting: bombs, tanks, and war airplanes. I may do away with the tanks because they aren't really related. I'll probably give Aerostat the planes because barrage balloons were protection against bomber planes. But who gets the bombs? Barrage balloons also protected against those, but the zeppelins dropped them!

Then here are some more items I'm looking for: something to represent Blimpmon's "bullets of helium gas"; Germany-related items for Zeppelins; England-related items for Aerostat. Or anything else related to WWI and WWII.

If you got this far, thank you ^X^;
