I adopted Rillien last year with the intent of training him up and re-homing him to someone that is new to battling. Of course, I have had him way too long and have grown attached to the little guy. That being said, I am tentatively adopting him out to the right person. I am looking to give him a home with either a newer player that is active on subeta and would like to get more involved with battling. I am also looking for active long term members that don't already have a battle pet and would like to be involved with the battling scene. His stats are as follows:
Male Neela Graveyard Health: 144 Strength: 145 Defense: 147 Speed: 146 Intelligence: 401 AP: 25 T2 (close to T3) TC: 17 slots
He also has 6,378 experience points for you to spend and has battled as many event challengers as he could face for his tier. I did not battle any of the permanent challengers with him so you could have a clean record to start :D
Apps are required, but it doesn't have to be anything over the top. I just want to make sure he is going to a home that will battle with him and continue to train his stats. Let me know what plans you have for him, what goals you have for him, what battle goals you have in general and if you have plans for weapons/scrolls. I am even willing to throw some weapons and scrolls your way for him to use to help get you started! Species change, name change and color change doesn't matter to me, he's yours to be whatever you choose. I would like the chance to adopt him back if you ever decide you don't want him anymore. If I can't find the right home for him or there is no interest, I will keep him.
Hey guys! Pinging to see if you have any friends that want to get into battling and are looking for a pet that is battle ready to help kick start training.
Awww, this is super sweet of you to do! Hopefully the right person comes along. Good luck adopting him out!
Do battle challengers fought transfer with the pet now? They didn't used to.
Nope. I have adopted pets w/in the past year and all challengers were new. Despite the record showing 10 wins, it would say I'd beat the challenger once on my first battle with the new pet. Loot was just as if it was a first battle too.
You could battle the BC regs to up exp if you wanted... It wouldn't affect anyone adopting. It will all be new to them. :)
I was debating that, but then he would have a record against those opponents? I don't think that resets with the transfer
The record doesn't reset, but since it's a new owner, the loot and battle counting starts over. With pets I have adopted, their record will show 10 wins against a foe -- say Abox, for example. I will battle the bag and I will get the message saying I have beaten it one time and I will win the appropriate loot. My pet's record will then show 11 wins -- even though the message said I won once and the loot was for one win. I will get the 5th win loot drop on my 5th win -- Basic Energized Blaster -- and my pet's record will show 15 wins. Make sense?
Oh yeah I know about the loot, I just wanted the new owner to be able to start with a clean record and not have my battles recorded ^_^ I only did event challengers since those don't always come back, especially now that TBT is no longer a thing.
Personally, I would rather have the battles on the record and the extra exp, not the "clean slate" especially since some challengers are already listed. Maybe offer to do some battles before transfer if the new owner wants?
Sure I can ask the new owner if that's what they want, if I find a new owner ;o; I don't want it to be off-putting? discouraging? Like if they see "she got 10 wins but I can't even manage x wins." Battling should be a fun challenge, not depressing. Does that make sense?
Yep. I hadn't thought about losses discouraging some people since I always see them as a badge of honor. I need to remember that not everyone sees things like I do. Although the world would be a much better place if they did! ;)
EDIT: -- dk if you are still interested in battle pets or not...
