"I totally agree with Caitlyn Jenner's right to identify as a woman, but April idenitfying as January is just crossing the line!" Told to me by someone who saw it on Facebook.

Seriously though. What the FUCK is wrong with the weather?! It's been snowing ALL DAMN DAY. Yesterday was a goddamned ICE STORM. My freaking car had a half inch of ice on it and I almost went blind when I was chipping that shit off because it sprayed in my eyes. I'm sitting at my desk at work right now, looking outside, and THE GODDAMN WHITE BULLSHIT IS STILL FALLING. SNOW. APRIL. THOSE DO NOT FUCKING GO TOGETHER GODDAMNIT!

Who do I complain to?! Is there a weather complaints department?? Because I will blow that shit up so fast with bitching, their heads will spin! This is just...

IT'S SPRING AND IT'S SNOWING AND WHYYYYYY?!? FUCK YOU CLIMATE CHANGE. FUCK YOU CLIMATE CHANGE DENIERS. Because this shit is NOT FUCKING NORMAL. Our normal average for this time of year is around 65-70 degrees. IT'S FUCKING 30 OUTSIDE. THIRTY. AS IN BELOW FREEZING.

THIS IS NOT OKAY AND I JUST CAN'T ANYMORE. I want SUNSHINE. And FLOWERS. And TREES WITH FUCKING LEAVES ON THEM. BUNNIES HOPPING. BEES BUZZING. NOT ICE AND SNOW AND FREEZING AND BULLSHIT.

falls onto stomach on floor and throws a full-on temper tantrum complete with screaming and pounding fists

JFC! Where do you live?? If we had that much right now, I'd build myself a flamethrower and go melt it all! I hope you're able to have a really great birthday anyways!

I live in South Dakota. It was a pretty massive blizzard over the weekend, they had no travel suggested and lots of places actually closed because of the weather. I had to work (I work in the inpatient pharmacy in a hospital!) so my father in law came and got me in his truck and brought me to work. It's been a nice day so far, even with the snow though!

We are finally starting to melt here (I'm up in Alberta, Canada), but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it snowed again -- just praying it doesn't haha!

I work outside too, so travelling and walking in the gross and the snow is getting a bit old. Now I just have to deal with our dog parks just being a sloppy mess.

I just hope we don't get a lot of rain this summer or else we will probably flood... D:

I'm in Canada and we haven't seen spring yet. Summer is probably going to be very short-lived at this point. It's always icy rain or a mix or rain and snow. It's gross as hell.

I cannot imagine a never ending winter ... I'd cry :c

I love winter, I really do. I love taking long, snowy hikes with my husky mix and I actually prefer when the temps never go above 75. But it's honestly getting ridiculous at this point. We had 7 inches of snow a few weeks ago and, while all the snow all since melted (save for some occasional flurries), I believe it was warmer in December than it is now. It's been in the 20s-30s with wind and ice-rain every day. Today the sun is out and I think we might finally hit 50 but there's still a wintery chill in the air. The annual Earth Day festival is this coming Saturday and I'm worried it's gonna be miserable if it doesn't warm up a bit more than this.

"We do have a lot in common. The same earth, the same air, the same sky. Maybe if we started looking at what's the same instead of always looking at what's different...well, who knows?"

Yeah, and there's those rampant declarations that climate change is a hoax yet it's flurrying outside rn. On April 19th.

Update from Alberta, Canada: it is trying really hard to be spring, and failing. However it hasn't snowed in like 4 days which is really nice since after the last snowfall we had, at least in my area, was super wet, heavy snow. Walking in it was like wading in mud.

In the town I am working at we've had 81F last week, which is much too high for the time of the year. Don't get me wrong, I don't want snow, icy roads or anything but this heat doesn't amuse me either. This is April and not July. stomps off
