I want to state first and foremost that this group is casual. There aren't going to be a lot of rules to follow, and the only time we're going to get down and be any type of serious at all is during Survival, when we're going to be doing what we do best. We got together for a common purpose, but since then, I feel like we're close, so I have no problems with people taking the reins sometimes. I trust you guys!

For the comfort of some people (because some people have asked if they're allowed to do something), I have this quick guide for you.

Making a Thread in the Group

  1. Just make sure you're the right forum! Most things will probably go in this forum (Shenanigans) but if you make a mistake, then just ping/comment me or another admin and we'll move it. It's not a big deal.

  2. Make sure there's nothing like it already. I personally don't care if a thread is already old, so feel free to continue to use it and post.

Making NVLB Threads for a Holiday

  1. It's fine to make a(n?) NVLB thread in holiday threads, such as for Masquerade, Vesnali, etc. If you happen to be around at the time the forum goes up and there isn't a thread there already, feel free to be the one to make a thread. Of course, if there isn't one there, I will certainly make one, but if hey, if you beat me there, you can do it. Be sure to include NVLB in the title. Including the word 'zombie' in the title is optional but highly encouraged.

  2. If you choose to make a thread, please ping the group so we can all find it. The ping name can be found on the landing page of the forum group and here (# nvlb - just remove the space).

  3. Optional - in your first post, include the appropriate lists for NVLB members or people who seem to pop by often using spoilers. For example, if it's Vesnali, include a list with the flower tag. This can be edited in later.

General Use of the Ping

Just try to use it sparingly and use your best judgment to make sure you don't spam people with the ping. The ideal situation would be for people to just to find topics during holidays, but if there's a contest you think you might be interested in, then feel free to drop a ping (or ask me if you're really not sure).
