Hello everyone! My wife has been playing this game for a long time, so I am finally checking it out. I've been here a few days and so far I'm enjoying the wardrobe customization (even though the inability to get older CWs I love is a tad depressing haha).

I'm a computer programmer by trade, but love basically every form of video game. I would love to chat about anything from farming sims to rpgs to shooting games. Having a wife to play with just makes it all even more fun :) I also enjoy basically every major sport, and will talk your ear off about those as well.

I still have no clue what I'm doing here, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless, so here I shall stay. Hello to everyone and I hope I don't annoy you too much! :)

Looks like you've got a good handle on the wardrobe system--your HA is well put together! 😁 I totally feel ya on the older CWs thing; I became re-active only a few months ago and only recently got into CWs, so seeing all the older CWs that I can't find/get is kind of sad. ;_; But fortunately, the CW market is moving along quite well, so you'll see new releases here and there. I hope you find some new stuff that you'll like!

Thanks! :) I've been slowly trying to get into final fantasy when I have the time, but otherwise I'm a huge fan of Skyrim, fallout. I've also played a few mmorpgs but not too many recently haha. Not enough time to get to all the games!

Ooohh, nice! 😀 I really like the Final Fantasy series--but admittedly, I've only played one game in its entirety, lol. 😅 Been wanting to get around to playing the others, but finding the time for them is difficult. (I tend to avoid starting a new game unless I feel like I'll have a lot of free time over an extended period of time to play it...which hasn't been the case recently, lol.)

I wish I had that discipline, I keep starting pokemon sun and playing for a day making very little progress, then not playing again for weeks haha. Ugh!

Lol! I've got two Pokemon games that I started, too--but they've been on hold for almost a year now. 😆 I keep thinking that I want to get back into them, but then I always think "Nooooo, you've got other stuff you need to do! Don't get re-addicted!" Ahaha!

Whenever I got addicted to a game in the past, I would play it all the time and procrastinate on everything else, such as my studies. And yeah, that wasn't good. 😅 So that's why I try to avoid getting into games unless I know I'll have enough free time for them. X'D

Which pokemon games?? My wife and I have them all, and get into random ones all the time. We recently played through blue and yellow together, because we got pokemon stadium for the n64 and could speed the game up x3 haha. It was really fun!

I didn't really start to get addicted til college, but I missed so many classes in college for Skyrim and a couple other games haha. Still not sure how I graduated or got a job, but I'll take it :) Fortunately now I work from home so I can play a game like this off and on without it getting in the way too horribly much :) I'm just glad there's a limit on quests though or I'd be doing those all day!

I haven't kept up well with the games after second gen, so last year, I tried to start catching up by getting White and Y. I made some nice little progress in White, and I got a little bit of a start in Y...but then I took an online course, had a major exam to study for, and applied for grad school--all together with work! So yeah, I had to tear myself away from them. X'D

Omg, I love the first gen games!!! I have Red and Blue, and they both still work fine on my old Game Boy, so I've played them multiple times. (I'd totally try to play them again if I had them with me where I live right now, lol.) And whaaaaaat, Pokemon Stadium for N64?!?! That makes me feel so nostalgic! 😊 I loved Pokemon Stadium--and heck yeah, the speed up feature is awesome! 😁 And I imported my best teams from my Red and Blue games to battle in the Gym Leader Castle, and I was always excited about getting the prize Pokemon at the end. 😀 I also loved the mini games, especially Clefairy Says and Sushi-Go-Round, lol. They were so fun! (Sorry for geeking out about it, lol.)

Ooohh, nice! 😊 I'm a bit lucky with my current job, too; it's not hectic most of the time, so I can play Subeta every day. But if I get accepted into grad school this coming fall...well, I'm sure that'll change a lot, lol.

My wife absolutely LOVES the mini games in stadium, that's always the first thing she wants to do when we start it up haha. Yes we combined our teams onto one game then took on the gym leaders, it was really fun! We finally broke down and bought Pokemon Stadium 2, but haven't had the time to play through gold and crystal yet. We have a fairly large N64 collection, with Pokemon Snap, Zelda games, Mario 64 ect, so we play it pretty regularly :)

White was pretty good but I really loved X and Y, so if you get time you should definitely play through that one!

Good luck with Grad School! I didn't have the patience for any more schooling, so I just stuck with the job, but I hear it's a great thing to have on your resume!

If you play Crystal, make sure to capture Suicune..That's literally the ONLY way to get Ho-oh once you have all the dogs.

Sweet! Gold and Crystal are great games--I hope you'll enjoy playing them! 😊 I played Silver back then, and I loved it! Sadly, it's more or less broken now; the game doesn't save properly anymore, so I'm bummed about that even to this day. 😢 Oh well. But yeah, I'll try to get around to playing Y (and White) more!

Thanks! I'm still waiting to hear if I got accepted for sure or not, so I'll see how that goes. X'D Lol, I'm totally not used to being in school/study mode anymore, and grad school is really expensive, too. So if I could, I would avoid it if possible. But since I want to get into teaching (and I don't have a teaching license yet; my bachelor's wasn't in education), a master's is the best way to go about it. X3

I actually know how to fix the saving if you are interested. I've fixed a few of ours. You just need to take the back off and replace the small circular battery inside. It's not too bad actually! You definitely should play n64 again! It's really fun to go back in time to those old games! Super Smash Bros was a great game, and a great series in general :) Can't wait for the new one on Switch!

Yessss, I love the Super Smash Bros series! 😊 I've also got the Wii U version (of which I'm kinda bummed that they took out the story mode...oh well)--and having all the different characters to play as is really great. 😁 A Switch version?! Now I feel an even greater need to get a Switch, lol. (I haven't hopped on that train yet; I've been resisting in an attempt to save some money, lol.)

A battery costs like $3 if you can get a single pack. Otherwise it's just taking it apart :)

I never bought a Wii U, that's like the one Nintendo system we don't have unfortunately haha. The switch is amazing, and the games are supposed to be even greater this year. After Smash Bros, there's talk of Animal Crossing too which I love that series. :) The switch was so worth the money we may have bought 2.... haha

Ah, do you have a regular Wii then? I've played both (because my family has the Wii), and I think there's not a huge difference between them...? Although I haven't played a wide range of games on the Wii U, so I don't know if I'm mistakenly underestimating it. 😅

Lol! Well, the Switch totally looks worth it, so why not? 😉 (I might very well buy one when I move in August--or maybe my brother or sister will buy one, and I can just play on theirs, lol.)
