i'm interested in donating to one of those groups that gives stuff to newbs to get them on their feet, but i can't find any!

any suggestions?

it there's an organized effort I don't know about it. You could hand out dancing masks to the current new players?

I don't know any specific ones, but if you go to the Welcomes & Introductions thread, you can send giftboxes to newbies you see posting there?

People who ask questions here tend to be new, and people who make Suggestions that have been made zillions of times before but have gotten shot down also tend to be new, so those are two other places to look for people to donate towards besides W&I
