Hello everyone! I'm Firefly. 25 years old. I'm an accounting major with a degree and I have just recently decided to study professional writing. I like to write creatively and I have gotten fairly decent at it though I do prefer to stick to poetry.

What to include in an introduction post.. hmm. I'm really not all that interesting. I like writing, coloring, nature, animals and rock n' roll. Also a bit of a geek/nerd with a passion for horror films.

I'm looking to make a friend or two while I spend time here. All this writing keeps me pretty tied up on the computer.

Aww, you sound interesting to me! 😊 Horror, eh? I'm a big chicken, but I quite like horror movies even though they scare the heck out of me, lol. I like the thrill and suspense in them. What are some of your favorite horror films?

Im a horror film junkie. My favorites are The Evil Dead Trilogy and the Hellraiser movies. The cheesier, the better. I am a huge chicken when it comes to everything else though.

I am sure I will. I've really only been doing the quests so far an I put a few items in my fault. Considering starting a gallery with them.

Welcome to subeta! I have recently just returned myself. Although, I have been a member for over five years.

I love to write as well but I'm not taking any courses in writing. I'm currently working on a degree in psychology myself. Do you like to roleplay? I know that always gets me in the writing mood. I love coming up with a story with someone else.

I love horror movies as well! My favorites are the Friday the 13th movies as well as the paranormal activity movies. I love anything having to do with ghosts or spirits. I've also seen pretty much every horror movie on Netflix and Hulu. It's my favorite genre.

I'm looking to make some new friends on here as well. Maybe we can be friends :)

What do you like to write? Psychology is cool. I considered studying it for a while but for some reason chose to go with accounting and business administration. Which was a royal pain.. Ive never role played. Nothing past a little Dungeons and Dragons at least. Always thought it sounded fun though! Im not the most social person in the world so opportunities dont present themselves often.

Friday the 13th. Classic! I havent seen all of the paranormal activity movies but I do recall enjoying the first. No Hulu for me but I have watched a lot of what Netflix has to offer. My favorite genre too! xD

I am working on a book actually. It's fantasy fiction, about a family of elves that live in a world where humans hate the magical/elven creatures and they have to find a safe haven. I have about 23,000 words so far. A long way from my end goal.

Psychology, aside from drawing and writing, is my passion. I want to be able to help people and my long term goal is to get my doctorate degree so I can be a children's psychiatrist specializing in trauma psychiatry.

Well if you ever want to give roleplaying a try I wont mind starting a one on one roleplay with you. I am generally up for anything. Although I am in school, as I stated before, so during the week (Monday-Thursday) I get pretty busy and may only get in one or two replies on those days.

I LOVE Jason. haha. He is my favorite horror villian, of all time. I love paranormal activity 1-3, the others were good but they weren't anything spectacular. The went downhill the farther they went. The ghost dimension was pretty good though. You should watch the whole series and tell me which ones are your favorite!

Oooh. I like fantasy and I have a thing for elves. When you finish it you should let me read. xD Im just getting started with the copyright and professional writing thing so I am trying to get at least 1500-2000 words a day into my busy schedule. A very challenging goal for most days.

Thats a lot of school. Good ethic. Awesome goals. Thats a pretty cool field to get into. I admire that you want to specialize in a field that helps kids.

Jason is cool. I feel bad for the guy, really. His story makes me more sad than scared. Ive never heard of Ghost Dimension. I will have to write it down and check it out.

I have zero designing skills. A have to bring in someone who studied design to help me create some spec ads for a portfolio project. I wish I had that skill/talent.

Oh yeah? I love elven creatures as well. That's why I decided to write a book about them. I had a book about a vampire hunter turned vampire but I didn't get very far in it. I love vampires but I found that I am not very good at writing a book about them. 2000 words a day is a good goal! I wish I could keep that goal myself. Although I do tend to write a lot during roleplays, so I might reach that goal with the roleplays that I am in. I have gotten into a writers block so I am hoping some roleplays will get me out of the block.

Well thank you! I just really want to be able to help kids who can't help themselves. I know it is a lot of school but I can do it. I just have to keep my head up and get through it one semester at a time. I am almost done with my bachelors degree right now.

I never really got scared of Chucky. I find it hard to find a horror movie that actually scares me. My mom is terrified of IT though. The new IT movie was actually pretty good though. I will be sure to steer clear of Chucky and the Crypt Keeper then! The Ghost Dimension is the newest paranormal activity movie. It doesn't follow the story line of the other movies, it's like its own little movie. It's pretty good.

I am alright at designing, I used to make profiles but I am out of practice with my coding skills so I don't make those anymore. I only do overlays to make some CSC on here. But I don't wanna open my shop until I am in practice again.

Vampire hunter turned vampire.. That sounds kind of depressing. :L Roleplays will definitely help you meet that goal. You could always set a small goal to start with until you get used to meeting that goal every day. Then maybe increase word count? Right now I am working on a collection of poetry. I struggle a lot though because I am not confident in my writing and my poetry falls on the darker side of the spectrum. Which is fine with me because that's what I like. I admire the writers who can strike sincere emotion with only a 2-4 line poem. I aspire to be them. Writers block is always a pain. Im sure writing about something else will help you with that. Take a break and come back to is with some fresh ideas.

Of course you can do it! Congratulations! Youll meet your end goal before you know it. Your hobbies will help pass the time.

My older siblings are the cause of all that.. I seriously cant stand dolls now and I am scared to go into a haunted house at Halloween time because I KNOW that Crypt Keeper jerk is in there :L:L I wonder if its on Netflix or if I will have to go to the video store and rent it? I do not have the attention span to learn coding. Or any language for that matter. I am trying to learn Spanish now.. I cant even handle that. A little daily practice will take you a long way. Youll be earning tons of CSC in no time!

Yeah the story was pretty depressing actually. As a young girl the main character saw her mother get murdered by a vampire. Then she went on to raise herself in an abandoned part of town, and to train herself to fight vampires. Although that left her no better than an amateur so she ends up being turned when she tries to take on a vampire above her skill level. Thats as far as I got in the story though.

I generally roleplay through email since smail has a post limit. I write multiple paragraphs and don't want to be limited by smail. I used to write poetry as well! I had a piece I wrote posted in the school paper when I was in middle school. It was an abstract poem called " All in the Lost Museum". I bet your poems are great though! Some of the best poems are on the darker side. Think about Poe. I just recently started a roleplay and it is helping me a lot with my writers block. Although I am still looking for more roleplays. I'm an addict.

I don't have any older siblings. I do have a twin brother though. But he doesn't like horror movies. I on the other hand grew up watching horror movies, so I guess I got desensitized to horror movies of all kinds. My girlfriend enjoys watching them with me too so there's always that. I can't go into a haunted house either. I love horror movies but when it comes to jump scares I am terrified. When something jumps out at me or grabs me I scream like a little girl. lol.

i learned spanish a long time ago. My dad worked with a lot of mexicans and so I picked some stuff up. Then I took courses in high school as well as college. Thanks! I am trying to do at least one overlay a day, they will just add to my examples.
