You can accept invitations even if you have deleted the event. Just go to:
more importantly the doyenne high society ladies of the Atebus Historical Society and all the NPC Gossips take dance cards VERY seriously. No invitation is ever forgotten ever and they are always presented to you in order. You may think you have escaped someone ghosting you by avoiding them until the event is over and this will not help you. Next year, their invitation will be presented to you like it or not.
Therefore you can wait for your next invitation and use that same linky twice (or as many times as you like, really): the first time they will gently and firmly redirect you to the original inviter that you have (surely) Quite Inadvertently snubbed, and the second time to the new inviter.
Accept dances normally, you'll get the one you accidentally deleted the notification to eventually. -v-b
