I was talking with a few of my friends about this game and I realized how much this game is just not making you want to play it, in some sense, you are just getting lazy and pissed off by it by only thinking about playing this game lol

  1. It's not an easy to use game, you click too much.
  2. Suddenly there is a restart and the food that you bought is just stuck again in the inventory
  3. What you get from it is really nothing, unless you are very very lucky to get a very rare and expensive minion..
  4. the only reason to play this game is for the achievements and you end up with 3 minions - that's it!

In general it's suffers from the same faith of almost every Subeta game, but this game can have a lot of potential and can be fun to play if it'll get a few changes..

I started this topic because I would like to know what other users thinks about this game, so speak your mind, even tell me that I'm wrong :P

Just to be clear: you're talking about the Autumn Dragon in the Farmer's Market, correct?

Oh, I didn't know you could actually get any income or minions from that. That is news to me :P

The bubble can explode and you can get the minion but it's super rare, since day 1 of the game I didn't get any minion lol

Oh, I didn't know that. When you said income I thought you were talking about the sP prize from the Autumn Dragon :P

I also don't like how the foods change (seemingly) at random. I always go for the cheaper ones just in case. But I'm guessing it is supposed to be the equivalent to feeding Kadoaties on Neo so I think upping your fed count to earn achievements is the entire point of it. It also takes some items out of the economy so I guess that is a good thing.

It would be nice to see it overhauled though, just to get more user participation. Right now it's a part of the site that I don't think most people often think about.

lo yeah I figured it out, I changed the "income" to something more clear "^_^

I agree, it just need a few changes to make it a better game and exciting. When it was first released, it was pretty difficult to feed one minion because many users played it and it was so much fun, but now you can just sit and feed minions without a problem because you are the only one who plays it..

What sort of changes specifically? I can't really think of anything that would make the game more fun, less clicky. Some site changes have already improved the game - like being able to search from the hover box.

I suppose some kind of profit might help - maybe not increase the minion drops - but maybe get a random food item at a rate around 10-15 bubbles popped?

LOL not that I want the game to become more popular - because I still remember the real frustration when the game first came out. Not only would you have the "sudden change" problem, but the vast majority of time you were lucky if your chosen bubble was still available once you went and bought the food - because someone else would have snuck in and fed it before you could. I had a really slow computer so it took forever to get the food.

maybe any food item can work to feed them? so it'll be quicker, but with a bit longer waiting time between minions?

Yes, that would make it so much easier, but then how does it differ from donating food to Charity?

Maybe, change the food bubble part so that its like the recycle beast, where you have the search/acct search icons right under the food item, so you don't have to wait for the hover to pop up.

Oh...or maybe instead of food you have a shop, so you can give them any food from say the Candy Shack, or Get mugged?

I tried to come up with some ideas, but couldn't really think of any.

-If they made it so the foods don't change until the minions are fed, we'll eventually get stuck with a wall of expensive items. -Right now it appears that new minions pop up in the top left corner and push the older minions into the bottom right corner.

I guess it would be nice to see a timer or something that lets us know when the entire group of minions refresh? I've been watching it for almost 10 minutes and it hasn't refreshed yet so it seems you do have a while to get the items unless someone else get there first.

I like both of your ideas, the icons is great and will save so much time! The second is like mixing it with the mystery box idea and I like it so much!

I think they refresh after a certain amount of minions that has been fed.. not sure.. but a timer would be amazing, it's just annoying to buy the food and discover that the minion is totally gone.

Maybe it only refreshes when the minions have been sitting there for a while? It hasn't refreshed in almost an hour, but there have been new minions popping up one minute after the old minions were fed.

it's possible, tbh it's unclear, they suddenly refresh, unless someone else knows?? But yes when you feed a few, after 1-2 minutes they refresh to a new once..

Okay, so now they just all refreshed on me after 5 minutes. This is a little confusing :P

I don't have a problem with missing a minion because the page reset. It's not much different from missing one that someone else got to first, and that's the whole point of the game. It's like a quest, only you have to be quick or you'll miss out.

As for prizes, this is one area of the site where I could actually see a prize shop being beneficial. Earn points based on how many minions you feed (bonus points if you manage to free a minion) and then go visit some nearby aid workers or scientists to buy stuff. These minions have been trapped for years, right? There's got to be some kind of relief effort in place to free them. They could sell wearable versions of popular minions, and stuff like that.

That, or just let Maybel headline a plot where she heads to Atebus to try to free them herself and take down whatever shady corporation created the bubbles in the first place, and then close that part of the site down. :P Guerilla Granny in Space™

A minion shop would be a fun idea. I don't know a lot about the minion homes but it could tie into that possibly, with items and decorations.

To help with the popularity problems if it picks up again, maybe have it work like the recycle beast where anyone can donate the requested food until it resets. Coding wise it could be a problem but it was near impossible to feed them when everyone was trying and it would drain more food out of the economy.

I wonder if resets have anything to do with the pets at the end being 'full'. I've been feeding a bunch of the ones that are the end and it reset frequently to clear them out. That being said, I didn't find it difficult to beat the reset, even while keeping it to the bottom with just using tabs. It was kind of fun even.

I also don't know how you make less click intensive without making it too generic.

And I don't think everything needs to have some big prize either. I think the achievements are enough. I certain do things that I don't quite want to do for achievements and I doubt I'm the only one.

I would just be happy if there was a higher chance of popping a bubble and getting a minion every once in a while. I have fed 2,326 minions so far and I recall only popping their bubbles 3 times. In fact, it didn't happen for so long that I wasn't even sure if the game still did that. As someone who collects minions, I would love for that rate to be just a little higher. Lol

(thank you to for my siggie)
