:( He was a brilliant mind and will be sorely missed. - You are an electronic giraffe. I HAVE to know how the heck you have an HA like that. It's amazing! <3

Science lost a titan today. RIP Stephen Hawking, I wish you'd gotten the chance to run over Margaret Thatcher's toes in your wheelchair.

The world is a better place for your insights and contributions, Mr. Hawking. You will be missed dearly. May your brilliant mind and beautiful soul rest in peace.
Oh no what is this I'm actually crying.
My high school physics teacher lent me "A Brief History of Time" and I had never been so fascinated or confused in my life lol. I'm so grateful for his contributions even if I'll never fully understand them all. We're lucky to have had him in our universe.
Not a very happy Pi Day, this one... Fitting though, I suppose. It's Einstein's birthday too.
The world is noticeably less intelligent than it ever was. Stephen may not have believed in a God but he was a miracle. My heart is bruised. To live so long, to retain his mind while his body was ravaged by a brutal disease. When I was a little girl, a man who had Lou Gehrigs came to our church, he used to try to talk all the time. He came every week until he couldn't anymore and he passed away soon after. It made a deep impression on me as a little kid. Stephen Hawking was a miracle. I will miss him.
collecting I just heard about this. I'm so very sad.
hugs if you want them.

Dr. Hawking's passing is a terrible tragedy, not only for science, but for the entire human race as well. He was a bloody genius, one of the greatest of our time, and he also proved to be strong and living despite the horrible disease he had been suffering for a long, long time - not to mention he had a great sense of humour that helped him keep on going with his life until his body wasn't able to hold on anymore.
Farewell, Mr. Hawking. Your light may have faded, but your legacy will be forever shining in our thoughts and hearts. RIP.
Thank you, . Was not prepared for this news today.
I'm sad that he didn't get to see the first direct image of a black hole/event horizon that is due out this year. I'm sure he was excited about that.
A bright mind in this world of darkness. Now he's got all the answers. Grateful to have had such great man on earth!
A tremendous loss. I am so sad to hear of this.
I just hope that once he figured out that there is, in fact, life after death, he was never more happy to be proven wrong.
A learning experience is one of those things that say, "You know that thing you just did? Don't do that." - Douglas Adams My wishlist.
He lived so much longer than doctors ever expected him to. We were lucky to have had him so long. He was a gift to the human race.
One of the greatest minds ever. His loss is incalculable. May he keep up his endless exploring in space and find all the answers.
