Im considering buying some weapons from the antiqie shop. Here are soem weapons i use now.

1. what is the difference between between truth serum or soma tablets? I read truth serum can steal 2 weapons ; does that happen often enough?
2. what is the advantage of using truth serum or tablets over sticking with the subetaball? (Basically is it worth the 60 mil?)
3. can the serum and tablets be used together? Can they be used with the recycle blaster?

Healers Right now i use [Item=reborn icewand of doom] I dont use a OPB healer but sometimes it would help! I notice Reviver of the Lion is in many of recommended sets. What is the difference between The One Ring and the Reviver?

Other Are Malice or Runeblade important for battle quests? At the moment i can complete 19 or 20 quests but i am not sure what will be useful in future.

Only weapons worth buying are soma tabs and reviver of the lion.

And even reviver of the lion is expensive for what it does.

The One Ring heals for 1000 and blocks one of each icon, Reviver of the Lion heals 90% and blocks 1-5 of each icon. So you outgrow the One Ring while the Reviver will scale as it provides a percentage based heal rather than the flat 1000.

The main difference between Truth Serum and Soma Tablets is how you reach your goal. You want to deny your opponent their weapons. So the Serum accomplishes this by taking them and adding them to your own. The drawbacks are that you may be unable to use them (they might kill you), and your opponent may be able to steal them back (this may be helpful since it's less chance for them to steal your own weapons). The Soma turns one weapon into a piece of garbage. The advantage is that the challenger has a chance to do less damage by using that garbage instead of a real weapon giving you a little breathing room. It also can grant a blessing, curse, and has a small chance to freeze and steal. There really isn't a risk/downside to the Soma outside of the rare chance to steal back the Empty Pillbox or a Recycled Wad, negating that who idea of giving your opponent the gift of a garbage weapon.

I don't think you can use the Serum and Soma together since they both are classified as stealers, but you can use either with the Recycle Blaster.

I use the Soma over the Serum or any other 100% stealer simply because I would rather have the breathing room than one of my opponent's weapons. If I need to fill my inventory with steal bait I'd consider item generating weapons like Turkey Quill, Natasha, or the Ether because they give me an infinite supply of bait.

Truth serum will steal two weapons, however most opponents have stealing disabled or so many weapons that stealing two doesn't make a difference. It can have its uses against guys like the hustler where you could potentially steal a T11 weapon for your lower tier pet to use.

Truth serum will always blast an opponent weapon, but also has a small chance to steal or freeze. Blasting is often preferred because it takes away one of your opponent's weapon and gives them the chance to use junk. Soma + recycle blaster can potentially turn two of your opponent's highly used weapons into junk so you take less damage.

Reviver of the lion is nice because it heals your pet for 90% and blocks a small amount of icons while you heal. Soma and reviver are the two best things you can buy from the antique shop imo. They are both things that high and low tier pets can benefits from.

Thank you for the info guys. I went ahead and bougnt the soma tablets and ive noticed a difference. Especially if i get a curse/buff on slavam (he gives the most trouble for me)

Im holding off on reviver because my stats are still low.
