Hey, I'm a long time member. Before I went on an extended break from Subeta, I had the deer skin on my avatar. It appears that changes were made where special skins appear in the wardrobe. The site automatically removed my deer skin, not giving me an option to remove it. Unfortunately, the deer skin I once had on my avatar is greyed out.

Is there a way to claim this old skin?

The only way you might be able to get it is to file a ticket. It's been a long time since the system came out though, so you might have to wait until Morostide (mid to late October) and zap for it again
