Caliph's Tomb is fun and easy and generous. However, in the years since its release, I have had to constantly zoom in to see what I'm doing. It's hard for me to see and I'm sure it is for others as well. Since the layout change, my previous tactic of zooming in and using fullscreen no longer works as it cuts off cards. PLEASE do something so that we can finally see the game we are playing! It's ridiculous.

Agreed this is a problem.
I would love to see larger cards in the first place. When I zoom the screen the cards just get blurry and even less readable.
I would also love the background image of the card to be fainter.
I stopped playing this game eons ago because trying to read the cards gives me a headache.

agreed. just went to play for the first time in forever and yeah. the card pile chosen should take up the whole screen, and the backgrounds should definitely have a filter be put over them so it's much easier to see the card numbers. Then again, if the cards are larger, maybe the filter won't be necessary.
I zoom in to play this as well, but that sometimes makes the cards sort of shake and blur, which is hard on the eyes. Full support for larger cards/larger font!
Same for balloon sweeper tbh. I have to play that at 150%+. It's so hard to SEE.
I've never played but I looked at the cards and they are right they are to small. Which is probably why I haven't ever played.
When a healthy user has to fullscreen their browser at a 1920x1080 screen resolution, still has to zoom in to ~170-210%, and STILL ends up with eye fatigue and a headache after a few rounds, all from a simple Solitaire card game, you know there is a serious accessibility problem going on, Subeta. :X
Visually, the cards are far too busy for such a small image. Looks even worse when you zoom in. Hello, eye fatigue!
Would also really love it if all of Subeta's games would scale with window size. If I have a big monitor, let me see the fancy art in all it's glory! Instead, you force me to try and guess if that's a bhakoru head or an artistic interpretation of Shinwa's frilly knickers. :c And all that while I'm already cross-eyed from trying to play the game.
I can see it fine but I know that I can see small details up close, so I'm probably in the minority there.
I do have a bit of eye strain, and I'm not sure if that's because of reading all of this, or if it's because there's a ton of white when you start clearing the cards.
I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only person who has a hard time seeing the cards. I've tried zooming but it just makes them blurry (and they vibrate lol). It's my favorite game here but I rarely play it because it's just too hard for me to see. I would love an option of a 'large print' card set where it's basically just the suit and value of the card on it and making the cards bigger to begin with probably wouldn't hurt either.
You might want to change the name of this thread so people know what it's about without clicking into - it might help it get more feedback. I only found it because I clicked into a different thread about this and then was redirected here - honestly I never would've notice it otherwise.
Thank you for the ping. I have changed the title to match the contents of this thread. I hope something is done about this because it has been YEARS.

Adding a vote to the pile of "please make Caliphs Tomb graphics clearer and larger".

I've never had a problem playing Caliph's Tomb, but going by this thread it seems a lot of users are. And I can see how it would be difficult for some people to see the cards easily.
I wouldn't want the card size to increase too much, or the game could stretch the screen for some users. But with clearer card art they shouldn't need to be much bigger.
I wonder if any progress has been made or if this is on a to-do-list somewhere?
