Hey, I’m Emilia!

Someone (username kobdor) was talking about Subeta on Recolor.me and I figured I would check it out.

I’m an aspiring midwife and super into homesteading, but it’s hard when you live with your grandparents and one wants nothing to do with “stinky farm animals”, and the other has a lot of machines and stuff taking up the yardspace. I’m working on starting up a garden, though I may have gotten too excited a little too early in the year about it, so I’ve got some leggy tomato seedlings already and they shouldn’t have been sown til mid-March at least…

I’m currently taking a break from classes in a social service work program due to funding issues, and need something to take up my time when I’m not cooking, cleaning, and job searching. It’s winter, so there’s not much I’d like to do that doesn’t cost money, which I don’t really have right now.

I’m into gentler music like Of Monsters and Men, and some other Indie stuff. I just listen to whatever plays, really. My favorite movies are Fly Away Home (1996) and Wolf Children. As for shows, I’ve been watching Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen, and Yuri Camp, but I also like to catch episodes of Criminal Minds and other medical- and psychology-related shows when they’re on. I also watch any kind of documentary, though I LOVE nature documentaries. I love learning in general, so feel free to hit me up to teach me a thing or two!

I’m having fun trying to figure out Subeta, which seems to me like a better version of Neopets where you also get a human avatar. I’m still finding my way around, but I think I like it so far. I think I like the Celinox best, aesthetically, but we'll see if I fall in love with another pet, too.

Anyway, I’m pretty friendly and basically an open book so you’re welcome to ask me or talk to me about almost anything, anytime!
